Help pricing a job

hey guys, while picking up my son at nursery today I was asked to do a job which I'm unsure of how to price. It would involve a full house clean on a detached 4 bed house with conservatory. By full clean I mean, sofits/fascias, gutters (in and out) windows and frames and full conny clean!

Said I would go and price the job for her, if she contacts me but would like a rough idea of a cost for the full thing before I go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

How long you think it will take times the price you want per hour, maybe add an hour on top to make sure and add in travel costs etc.

£150 just for some fsg tuffers? And you called me expensive /emoticons/tongue.png I'd probably be around £80 for fsg (£1p/m and takes me around 2hrs), £20 for windows if regular, maybe £60-80 for connie roof depending on how dirty it is, so say £180 all in. But seeing as you only charge a fiver up there for windows, I'm guessing your fsg and connie prices will be lower too...? Pricings wierd, some have lower window prices but high fsg/connie roofs etc, some vice versa, some a mixture. Best just to do what diwrnach said and work out how long x by your hourly rate. I'd say 5hrs would do it all for me :thumbsup:

I would say £250 all in and do a pucka job on it be done I reckon in 5hrs [emoji106]

I've started pricing f/s/g at £1.50 per metre for each component (emptying gutter, cleaning gutter, facia and soffit, so £6 per metre for everything.... If they're not too bad I might drop to £5 (mood dependent). Most folk seem pretty happy with that....I'd be interested to see how well they'd clean using wfp as some do, I've always done it off my ladder and even then it can be a real pig cleaning the gutter clips and scouring off the tiger stripes, I don't think my wfp would touch it.

Right guys, just to give you an update on this job. Went out tonight to collect money and then went canvassing in another area (this one) and the woman was in that asked me to give her a price. Firstly I'm now her windy £10 per clean, and secondly I priced the full outside clean for her.... Wait for it ..... At £200. She shrugged her shoulders, and said go for it. So that's me booked in at end of October for the job.

Congrats on getting jobs. Seems a reasonably decent price. But why are you leaving it until the end of cold october to do? Also just seen you are clearing the gutters out too, I thought you were just cleaning them lol. In which case that would of doubled my gutter price haha! I said 5hrs before, I'd probably make that 6hrs now too /emoticons/biggrin.png

@MrBump get real

this is u were on about it tke u 2 days on that job lol and you wont clear the gutters as ur scared of the ladders /emoticons/tongue.png

I hope not Peter seeing as I have a gutter clear (~250m or so) plus inside and outside windows on a big country house with a huge conservatory and big double height windows, glass ballustrades and all the rest of it to do tomorrow! /emoticons/tongue.png oh and a bungalow too :whistle:

Who said anything about a ladder?! Gutter vac and wfp baby /emoticons/biggrin.png Although done two vac jobs in past week and both times ended up getting ladder out to get something out of the gutter (like my vac end tool haha) :whistle:

Annoying when that happens, I had 3 sections decide to come away from the 2 lower ones the other month, left 4 meters of carbon pole hanging in the balance lol!
