Anyone using Moreman Liquidator?

Do us use wagtail original pads or make your own Eric?
Hi Paul, I use the originals, although I do reshape them a touch so that the ends stay out of the way when blading. There seems to be a move to create heavier pads that hold more water but as I use it in hand and on the poles if it's too heavy then wrist and arm start complaining after a few jobs.

One thing i liked about using a wagtail was that u dont get soapy solution all over the frames unlike regular sleeves which generally end up soaping the frames too

I like the way a wagtail can be pushed up close to the top frame covering the glass and not getting it on the frame

Got my liquidator out of its hidding today, and glad i did it was just flying over the glass no deatiling what so ever. Always work to put tools for a motnh then come back, odd but seem to work.

Maybe it's the equivalent of putting kids on the naughty Step! My liquidators have been there for a while now, perhaps it's time to free them and see if they've learnt their lesson

I dont like the razr in my liquidator feel its not gripping the glass, been using black diamond soft and its really good, and cheap too /emoticons/biggrin.png

Hey @Ant , I even used my razr red on a job today with my liquidators and all good........I think lol
Ha ha yeah, there's always that doubt Keefo but hopefully you're line free /emoticons/tongue.png

I probably need to order some new clips if I'm gonna try my liquidators again, messed about with them too much so be good to start afresh with new ones.

Just had delivered the 12 inch liquadator.

Have we still got to do the squeeze down mod or are they ok now. They don't look no different??

I've found rzr red to be generally ok, not my favourite, but have a batch to get through! You can't fault it's longevity though.

Yet to try black diamond, I'm sure I'll get round to trying some soon.

I love razr..now I'm wfp and use trad only for insides and the odd bottoms i still have the same piece in my wagulator i have had for 3 months and 1 month of that i was trad

Your quite luckly with your frames then davey. I love my liquidator but it eat through rubber, one or to pieces a day. Wooden windows are the worst i find.

Yeah, no point if you're not getting on with it. Like I said I find it ok, but every now and then I've bought a strip of ettore soft from the local shop just for the change.

I've found some black diamond on ebay, 40" strip for £14.58 Hmmm shall I?

Moerman handle is getting sent back to the shop tomorrow. Bloody thing has only had about 3 days total use and its fallen apart on me.

...the bad news is that the liquidator channel is still in tact. /emoticons/biggrin.png:laugh: *boom tish*

I've found with all my dog eared channels and the liquidators soft rubber is an absolute waste of time. The Wagtail has some longevity if you can get on with it. The Razer Red lasts for ever (well, not quite). Was going to buy some BD off Racensteins but they only have the soft. WCR have both but won't ship internationally...so Razer Red it is ... and no complaints. It's a great rubber.

Fill out this form and they send you a test piece of 18'' for FREE that you can test if you like. I did it this way and first didnt like it but then threw it in the liquidator and been stuck with since. i really recommend it cheap and longlivety is over average.
