Anyone using Moreman Liquidator?

I've found with all my dog eared channels and the liquidators soft rubber is an absolute waste of time. The Wagtail has some longevity if you can get on with it. The Razer Red lasts for ever (well, not quite). Was going to buy some BD off Racensteins but they only have the soft. WCR have both but won't ship internationally...so Razer Red it is ... and no complaints. It's a great rubber.

I dont fancy the wagtail rubber its too hard. I have used razr in my standard channels for quite some time and find it great long lasting but in the liquidator it dont work for me.

 
All my liquidators went to another user on this forum.../emoticons/smile.png) I think they are a waste of time.

I did also acquire some Unger S channels which in my standard handles and my Uniloc 0 degree handles work a real treat, far more impressed than I was with liquidators.

All to themselves but dont understand how you consider them waste of time? I have saved 1 hour today and a ton of cloths because i dont have to wipe edges. Think they are great, eat rubber but apart from that no issue.

 
Horses for courses..not everyone will get on with a tool that others do

Don't mean it's **** just that everyone works different

Some people can't get on with modded channels

I reckon you should have tried a liquidator in a wagtail handle green you may have been surprised

 
i have been using mine to squeegee the condensation in my house windows :laugh:

then again i haven't fixed the original clips yet :rolleyes:

 
Ordering some stuff today and also getting some new squeegees, what's the general consensus on the right tool. I have Pulex just now which I like but I'm only a beginner so have limited knowledge on them, is it best to go for liquidator or like Green says the Unger S, I understand everyone has they're favourites but what would be best for a beginner who is practicing the whirl but still using the straight pull method just now. I also have a wagtail bug can't get to grips with it just now (I'm still practicing with it though). Also am I best to just use medium rubber in Scotland, our temps here are pretty much garbage!

Any help would be appreciated

Soft rubber wears too fast. Hard will almost certainly be a waste of time in Scotland most of the year. Where I am in NZ (South of the South Island about 200 metres north of Antarctica) I find Ettore excellent for normal (non dog-eared channels). My fav is the Facelift Razer Red. Great all year round, excellent longevity in my modded Wagtails and my Liquidator channels. If you're a beginner jump in the deep end and buy the Liquidator 12 and/or 14" channels and although the swivel on their handle is rubbish, in use it's got a nice feel to it. Don't be put off by the lightweight plastic look. It's really quite durable.

THIS IS MY LIQUIDATOR, THERE ARE MANY LIKE IT BUT THIS ONE IS MINE. MY LIQUIDATOR IS MY BEST FRIEND. IT IS MY LIFE. I MUST MASTER IT AS I MASTER MY LIFE. WITHOUT ME IT IS USELESS, WITHOUT MY LIQUIDATOR I AM USELESS.

So the Razr red in the liquidator? Is it a straight fit or do I need to mod it? Don't particularly want to mod anything, although I am handy with tools I don't want to wreck anything.

 
scissors! Cheers Dave. I've always used a blade to cut up until now, although I'm still on my first soft rubber it came with at the moment. Cheers mate.
