Round For Sale - Fermoy, Cork, Southern Ireland

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Kilkenny is a lovely place - I must visit again sometime soon. My brother Zack spent loads of time down there on a build project a couple of months back, but I've only ever had chance to do the touristy castle tour kinda thing!

How's the window cleaning business down that side of the country?

Yeah Kilkenny is a great City , anytime your down give me a call , I started Window cleaning at the time of the construction crash in 2010 as for a way of keeping me busy and I must say it took maybe 3 years to see any real income from it but now it's going really great , a lot of cowboys in the game in Kilkenny but they don't last very long . how's things in your area ? btw do you do soft washing ?

I don't actually clean windows anymore - I've been full time at the web design since my round sold. I used to do soft washing & loved it - it makes a huge difference to houses covered in algae and is very quick to do.

Hello, I am looking for a round for sale, but dont seem to be able to find anything on-line that is current.

Can you give me any advice? My wifes family is Irish and we want to move over from Cornwall.

I have been in the business for over 20 years, already have complete set up and am happy to consider anything to get me started.

THANK YOU

If you can wait a couple of years my dad will be retiring & may be selling up...

Apart from that I don't know of any rounds for sale in the area - - Ireland was hit BAD by the recession & i'd guess over 50% of cleaning businesses went under, and even now the surviving ones find it much harder to get work than they used to,.. so when you do move over be aware that it'll be tough to get started!

Thank you, yes have been told it wont be easy. Your dads round would be where?

Your dads round sounds interesting, would rather buy one then start from scratch. The timing may suit as we are not ready to move over yet. I have my own business to sell here first and sell our home. What area of Ireland would it be?

Thanks again

His work is based around Cork city & a few of the surrounding towns - he's 3 years from retirement and technically my little brother is supposed to be taking over the business,.. but I honestly can't see it happening as he has zero interest in it (He's only 22 and wants to be a mechanic). Its not a big round - and like all things in ireland there is a lot of travel involved between jobs - but he seems to get a good hourly rate and after 25 years in business he does get a steady stream of new enquiries and a lot of pressure washing work in the summer too.

Keep me in mind & when you're closer to moving over & we'll see what the situation is,... It'd definitely be better than trying to start from scratch.
