cheers @Pickingpaul, some good tips there.
Its a little slow to be honest, biggest problem has been catching people at home! seem to be staring at a lot of closed doors lately! I have been canvassing all day when I'm not cleaning, and I think I'm out at the wrong time. I will try to focus more on the 5-7 slot.

Feeling the pressure a bit to get some more work in before winter kicks in, but got Facebook and the website pretty much sorted now so that should help as well.
If u make the dirty list as i described and then at peak times u are not knocking every door u see. U can whip round to every dirty house in the road optimizing your success rate. If u do it properly, you can get five or six easily at the peak times and clean them the next day starting at say 9am. Get them booked in and cleaned, no more than 5/6 imo as it will take longer first cleans, get them all perfect. Then rest in the afternoon and hit those peak time dirty houses again for work for the next day, just do that every day mate and u should straight away get an income which will increase every month.

Seriously just have a really long walk and get a list of 100+ Dirty houses, not all will want u of course, but more than half will on average.

dont forget to have "many lines out in the water" and this is essential in this business . doorknocking yes flyers yes, but also passive advertising , gumtree ,vivastreet, facebook, TWITTER, streetlife, update your website with offers/deals , flyers left on a chippy counter or anywhere else you can think who might give them out [car wash lads?}. Also if you think of an idea to promote your biz, write it down and then you can act on it once uve a bit of spare time. always keep a pen/paper in your pocket

the more effort you put into several DIFFERENT lines of promotion, the more you will get rolling in.
