With Peter and Tuffers quoting the 100 and then Tik's 250 ( Ah,,, i remember Canary Wharf going up ). When i said i found it amusing it was simply down to one quote. Yours. Tuffers cut you by £50 with the reasoning that there was always somebody cheaper. You agreed with him....it just read so funny. Like i said, it's a bloody good job were not quoting for work in the same area.We'd all be working for Tuffer's.......at minimum wage.....hang on...what's this on Universal Jobmatch ???

The only two sound bits of advice he was given was by EvieStevie and Tuffers.

Theres always someone that will do it cheaper and how much is the job worth to him.

Those two statements alone make anybody giving him a quote void.

It is a two hour job at a slow boat pace (external only). My hourly rate is £40 so they can pay £80 monthly or bi monthly - £100 if quarterly and if anything outside that is considered a one off (still only a mornings work) so £150

Simple. £250?? No wonder your poles gold plated!

and there has to be a top and bottom price...I know for a fact a certain lurker king member would charge more but...

a good point tiktik on the wait for your money bit...can be a pain....but then again...AS LONG AS IT ARRIVES....(and he does live a bit away)

my contract work is like that but...as I do it ....last month arrives so doesnt really matter....except for the first clean.
