Road tested the flask today tolish, I'm sure it has a mini nuclear reactor in it, never known coffee so hot at 3pm :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I use a pick up that is 4x4, the roads gonna have to be pretty bad to stop me working lol.

i must get in a few litres of antifreeze , ready to add to my bucket. what i really want/wanted was that methanol antifreeze that you used to be able to buy but i bleve its now banned . it was less "oily" than the blue stuff.
however needs must so i will make do with the blue bucket additive for when it goes sub zero

Be careful with the meths guys, its pretty poisonous stuff from what I gather. And a little tip is to not pour it down your leg and set fire to yourself while lighting a camping stove.

It says on the bottle that it can be used to clean glass so hopefully it is true,smells strong.

reminds me last winter instead of mixin in antifreeze in my bucket i used winter screen wash, bought it in BnQ ready mixed PRETTY CHEAP WELL CHEAPER THAN BUYING ANTIFREEZE and used it in my bucket and it worked perfect

I don't like steels in winter tolish..draws heat away from your feet quicker

I do find riggers very warm though even with steels

Good point. Might need to stock up on the thick socks. Tbh the sole reason for choosing them was the price, and if they last a season I'll be happy. I've got a nice pair of dewalt riggers that won't wear out, but they would work well on the pointer ladders.

B&Q tradepoint are doing the dewalt riggers for £34 when I walked in last week, think I paid 55 for mine so a bargain.. They live forever.
