Van written off

WCF

Help Support WCF:

im now wary of buying or leasing a van from a van dealer . iv never actually done it always bought private but whats put me off is the pushyness and pure lies of van sellers

im in the market for a new crewvan and been told "i know its 5k more for a backseat but thats how it is since the recession theyre handmade now" "weve got one but you better move fast as its the only van in the whole country " "delay and its a 6 month wait -or more" " think weve got one here but you cant sit in it as it belongs to someone else, heck, i will let you sit inside but no starting it"

I thought it was the only the 2l vivaro etc that had the issue with the fused injectors cause by rain dripping down and pooling on the top of the injectors?

another thing with vauxhall is if u get new vauxhall they warnty the injectors up to 100.000miles as long as they secvice it with them

I need to upgrade size tooWhat about going to van Auctions ? Anyone much experience ?
my mechanic had a vauxhall movano in with injectiors gone and there was a rust trail and water on the injectors they were sezed in but he just managed to get them out he said that was a 2.5l engine with well over 100k on the clock. i was told the 1.9cdti is a bit of a dog an not as relible as the rest of the engines that r in the vivaro's that was a parts center guy that told me

u can get some good stuff from there but its a bit of a rush and relet as there is a lot of dogs there to wade throu

Yea wouldn't have the guts to go to an auction as u don't get to drive em yourself.

Leaning toward a dispatch or expert now

They don't make them any more but the Toyota Hiace are reportedly pretty bomb proof. Lots of older, high mileage examples on Autotrader when I last looked and they don't seem to suffer too much with rust. Test drove a new one about five years ago, didn't drive like a car, more like a lorry with a really low first gear.

I have the 2011 caddy maxi, its a beaut. Couldnt tell you the payload on it though.
Have you got a Pure water Unit in that Tolish? If so what SIze. I'm thinking of a caddy?

No sorry mate, just trad. I did look up the payload of it once for someone on here but can't remember what it was. Mines just had a service today, booked it in with the bad weather, and just for a change the weather nobbers got it right.

Yes 1.6. Lot of miles on it but never brought a vehicle with such a complete history. No expense spared on its upkeep.

I have a 1.6 hdi

There bombproof but there is a def issue with turbo

When I used to sell vans wouldn't touch one without fsh

My advice service with the best quality oil every 5000 instead off the 10,000

Clean the turbo feed pipe out or remove the gauge filter inside it

The problem isn't the turbo but the turbo pipe filter clogging and starving the turbo

Do this and you will never have any issues
