hose on the outside

so diwrnach having it inside doesn't solve the tangle issue AND risks your pole.my pole was around $1,000.00 cad i cannot believe anyone would risk dragging **** inside it and creating a frequent cleaning job for themselves that in no way guarantees the safety of the pole. EVERY SINGLE TIME you extend your pole you risk pulling something inside it.

ya seatbelt...i use mine if i think i might have an accident. when i'm working with my power tools i put on my safety glasses when i see something about to hit my eye. i buy gas when i run out. gas filter for my vehicle...i took it out, i'll put it back if i think i might be buying dirty gas.

and remember son...look both ways before you cross the street IF you think there's cars coming.

there is not a single valid reason for hose in pole anywhere in this thread and obviously those that developed a personal liking for it will not change but for those new to wfp i beg you do not play russian roulette with your pole!!!
Do you use clips or just hold the hose in your hand?

mostly i just let it hang there, it's always below the brush and cleaning is done top down so it doesn't matter if it flops or touches window. ocassionally if have to over something like a high bush/tree or a protruding roof i will hold the pole straight up extend some and then spin the pole, if you do the spins before extending the hose will bind. that enough usually but if i need it all the way to bottom i grab the end which is not difficult as the hose is close due to pole being straight up.

also because i have the reach it mini i sometimes take a shorter section to work with...if i have to climb a ladder to get on a roof i will often just take the top section which is impossible with hose inside, i also detach brush and use the pole with squeegee sometimes for high inside windows. i get alot of homes with 18 ft ceilings and windows to the top.

Managed half a day with hose on the outside before really losing my temper as it snagged on a bit of guttering. I screamed f.ing hell!!! Turned around and the old girl is standing there waiting to pay me  I'm definitely an inny from now on /emoticons/wink.png

That is all I can imagine happening, it getting even more stuck on random ****, which is the bain of my life already.

I have had mine inside all day and what a difference it makes

Plus not using my trolley as a trolley anymore

Stuck my hose reel on it and never left my boot all day

Now the drums live in the car as no way to fix to the trolley

Roll on January as that's when me and the wife have budgeted for new van

I loved my trolley but can't wait for a van mount now I've had a taste

Yes i know there's a mug under the reel..just finished a cuppa when i took the pic

It was lovely just pulling the hose out to the furthest point and working back towards the car instead of moving trolley all the time

Also as it is in my car i had a couple of jobs where i put it at the front of the house instead of in my boot so I could lock the car..van i will lock the front but leave the back door open

The tap makes a huge difference to water consumption too..i used to kink the pipe but it's no way near as effective

If you use microbore, you can put it over the sliding door of the van, close the door and lock up. The whole van is then locked. Its what I've always done without a problem

Kink and use the tap when you need to drag the reel hose otherwise you'll pop the pole hose off the reel hose or damage the pole hose. That's what I do and I can kink when bringing the pole down and keep it kinked while extending to upper windows.

The stuff i got 30m of on the reel is 6.3mm id and 11 od

Not sure what you class that as?

Miles better en it @daveyboy1

Exactly how I do it. Stays in van. Reel out hose to furthest point & work backwards. No dragging the trolley around. Still prefer my hose outside tho.

I've taken it off the trolley now

Can bungee it on if i need to but it will just stay in the car now until i sort my van

Gives me a couple of months using it like a van mount to really get me gagging for my van

It is a bodge job but it works well

Battery and pump with led indicator, charge point and variable speed control all in b&q junction box cable tied to hose reel so it can sit in the boot and just stick the inlet hose in a 25l drum

Amazing what you can bodge if you want

Yeah ..the id of that hose is 6.3mm so not too big

The pump is fine..cleaned a good few houses today with it including some loft conversion windows and fascias

Posh has the same pump with no issues

I may need to take it to a couple of jobs i do where i can't park near which is when i will bungee a drum on my trolley and bungee the reel/pump on top

Even if i had to do that once a day it would be fine

The yellow kobold think it has a better pump than the one your using so would do it no problem by the sounds of it.

If you have a long enough hose yer won't need to drag a backpack round with you. You drag the hose round instead. I've gone 150ft round a house & the pump is fine.

You could have left it in that blue box @daveyboy1 lol
