I know this has been covered before, but frustration has got the better of me. I've got Gardiners poles and backpack and think they are the dogs lower regions. But their taps are a different matter. I used a streamline tap for over 5 years without a problem, but gone through 2 Gardiners taps in 6 weeks! I use protecter balls and try to be careful. Simply cannot understand why they use plastic for the tap handle. Rant overView attachment 5718

Hi Steve

Apologies that this has happened to you twice. Obviously all devices have their strength limits, but it does sound as if these have been faulty.

I will get one of the new ones with metal levers sent out to you tomorrow as a replacement to your previous delivery address.

Are the taps on the website yet @Alex Gardiner ?
We are only selling the new valves now - The photos have not been changed yet, though they look reasonably similar. As far as I know we have not had a single issue/failure with the new ones since selling them, they are a lot more robust.
