I will re open an lid thread. I can do 30 average houses n bungalows in a day if they r in the same village. I usually work long hours for 3 days a week, usually mon tues n wed then have 4 days off

30!!! Blloxx to that no matter how small they are,I'd be fooked. My days are anywhere between 8 and 15 depending on the size of the house. I could do more but I want a bit left in the tank for the evening, and I think quality can often suffer if you go too quick.

Even for wfp, that's pushing it!

With two people, ok, but one man trad, NAH!

It can be done. Perhaps I'm getting quicker as I get older. And the quality isn't suffering. Always on my first one by 7.15/30. Always have half an hour for lunch as well

Dunno y u don't believe me Craig. I've been cleaning windows for 35 years. Think I've got the hang of it. Y would I bother to lie?
I can't imagine you are lying, but I would like to know the circumstances. Do you do frames and sills every time? Are you doing 30 every day, or is it just the odd big push? What time do you finish? Do you detail? Do you miss out frosties and awkward windows? How do you take payment? Do you ever talk toyour custies?

I'd like to follow you for a day and see how you do it to atisfy my curiosity.

Hello tolish. U can follow if u like lol. I'm only about 40 miles from u. The 30 a day is 2 different rounds twice a month. It's a push. I don't always do it. Today I gave up and was home by 2. Rained here. I try not to talk to them to much. Just polite then off I go. Most of them r in and pay on the day

Where you from then mate?

Do you do the frames and sills? Wish I could learn to just be polite and then on my way, I seem to end up getting into long drawn out conversations every time, its the biggest thing I need to address.

Ok mate. No **** taking here. I clean more commercials as a rule. I like doing shops or offices if I'm honest. Prob only do a whole day of houses once a week

Brandon. Other side of mildenhall. Always do the sills. A lot of mine still seem to be the old stained wooden ones. Those frames don't get done. Always detail tho. I always chat for a mo. When they pause for breath I but in and say I must crack on now and just go lol

I know brandon very well. Me and the Bro in law go camping around there a lot- mundford, thetford and all that. Always stop off at the aldi to pick up camping food for the night.

Couldn't and wouldn't want to start cleaning domestic houses at 7am, its not decent at that time unless it has been agreed beforehand. Commercial yes its ok. I guess easy small houses doing trad it could be poss, but how many frames are you missing out and how many windows can't you get to?

I think wfp yes defo but house dependant, I went out today with 14 to do and was done in 2hrs 50, no break and flat out, all close together and on a new build estate, 7 were all in a row, mix of 2/3 beds and three 5 bed homes. But none have conservatories etc. Then I have days where I go do the same number and it takes me double as there is just more windows and most have big conservatories on the back.

I always start on the same houses each time. On the first couple I ring the bell before I start so they know I'm there. Some r small. Pensioners bungalows. 5 windows n 2 doors. Some r 3/4 bedders. Not many have conservatories. I just crack on and get them done. As I said a while ago. I only work 3 days a week if it's dry. Would rather do 3 long days than 4/5 shorter days.
