..when new clients are sensible.

I quoted a new potential client's house at £60 and her mother's house at £40. I provided the quote by email, after I had visited whilst both were out.

Just got a reply, thanking me and advising that the quotations were acceptable. The client goes on to say that she will not expect me before Christmas and look forward to seeing me in the new year.

Most would be pushing for a pre-Christmas clean.

not sure about this oneSP as you said why not get them cleaned now

job done for xmas

You stumble across gems like this from time to time. They are often the type of person that has had the same windy for 20 years before you. I always take extra good care of them.

Good to get a couple of big drums on your round

As long as they pay promptly which it seems they would it makes for a good earning day

Picked up two new customers today and they said next time i am round start cleaning. I was like  i said i could do them if they wanted so i did.

Only a £3 and £4 job tho lol

I didn't know what to charge em mate. One customer is old, and the other is deaf. Fronts only. One has 3 windows the other 4. I did both in about 3 mins and that was the first clean as well! I have explained the front will take around about a minute each lol.

I turn up and do 3 fronts. £5 £4 and £3 = 5 mins tops lol

They have replacement windows with the Georgian bars INSIDE the glass now. Brown framed, was tempted with £5 each, just couldn't do it lol

Rung the door bell on second house about 10 times, she had her back turned to me. I actually said f*** me are you deaf! Then neighbor said Yeah.....she is lol

Yep I found a street like this all 1 up 1 down and a door. Dropped some leaflets saying "price for the front £3 . Was thinking if I can get 4 or 5 in a row no more then 10 min job. As it turned out I got 10 all saying u said £3 for the front how much for the back too. £10 all in. And there all in a row pull up do all the fronts then drive to the alleyway at the back. Takes 1 and half hours.

two quick jobs DaMO thats ok

Your pricing is your business @Damo but I can go below £10 or the brain does not compute.

I have some like that at £10 and my reasoning for them is if they were the only customer in that road I will still go do their windows. My diesel didn't cost any less to get there my tools weren't any cheaper and that all needs paying for so we have a £10 minimum charge. Our customers never have a problem with it.
