If it's wet decking I just tell em I won't be doing the ones above the decking today. Have £2 off ya bill. I explain this to any new customers as well. Never had anyone say they must have em done today. Most don't take the £2 off either

I was at a house yesterday and the decking was so slippery I could hardly stand up (the lines going away from the wall). As I use a cloth I was keen to see how it would do. Now, I use towelling for wiping etc, not microfiber or scrim, one hand towel cut in half. so I fold it on itself three times and laid it down and put my ladders on it, and it was rock solid. I always make sure that the towelling I'm going to use is damp but not soaking.

Don't the wcw sell them?

I found this thing called a water fed pole

No falling off ladders on decking then

Even if only used for that type of job it is definitely worth being hybrid nowadays

Saves breaking your neck

I always bring my ladder back to anything that will stop it slipping, I can usually always find somewhere, although this time of the year even the paving can be quite slippy
