rinsing

I never rinse a frosted window i just give a quick brush and zigzag the brush downwards as the 2nd scrub and that is rinsed sort of then anyway

Same as some other windows where i do that knowing that they are clean anyway

theres a company who sell rinse bars which are handy for cleaning high windows so u keep brush on the windows and bring down slowly as the water comes ot over the brush
to stop spotting u have to get close to the window with the brush the futher away the brush is bigger chance of spootting
Do you no who, I have seen them and look good, but only seen as prototype, the wagtail looks very good with rinse bar as well.

It wouldn't be hard to knock up one yourself

Theres a guy on hmans facebook modding page who does that sort of thing

I find windows that spot at the top need to have the brush pushed right against the top edge without going on to the frame and wipe it from 1 side to the other and there is nothing left on the top to spot

That's a thing wagga does on that vid also

I do my own windows on my house 100% no rinsing and they are fine but not got the bottle to do a whole custys house like that

Start about 2 minutes 20 or just before on here and this is the best way to rinse on the glass with a mono brush

I do it a few different ways but this works

You have to rinse (top to bottom!), off the glass preferable, learn by experience, avoid vents and the brickwork, I have recently been doing all the fanlights first, then the bigger panes after, seems to work better.

I think it is easy to get too carried away with unnecessary rinsing

It's good to have an experiment and see how much you can reduce the amount of rinsing without affecting the quality of the job

I have a decent flow from my jets and find i don't need more than a quick rinse rather than meticulously rinsing each pane and wasting water

I have no idea as i use a diy trolley with analogue control

I just twist the *** until it feels right

if its a regular job & most of our jobs are, then the frames should be pretty clean anyway, to clean glass takes seconds unless its got something stuck on it, so from the second you start cleaning the top frame its getting rinsed by the time its been brush it should be clean so a good flow is enough of a rinse , @daveyboy1 said the key thing ,, experiment till your confident

I do the frames every time

Not always the bit above the top frame if it looks clean as that is where the water will drip from causing spots

If i do need to do them i will scrub then rinse that bit..do another window then go back and clean the rest as normal

I never clean the frames seperately as you can scrub the frame while doing the glass in one go

One thing i think im guilty of is over cleaning or over rinsing, i need to experiment over christmas on my own windows to see just how fast i can go compared with how i do it now, im very meticulous and err on the side of caution but feel i spend far too long cleaning a house a typical 3 bed semi will take me approx 20 mins a 4 bed detached with a conny 30 mins. i feel i need to get quicker next year. maybe a bigger pump and or jets is the answer with more flow
