I am looking to get set up with a WFPS and need some help. I live in a hard water area and am looking to buy a van ready to go, just to get starter.
I am looking at these and wondered if anyone can tell me what they think of both of them and the systems that are installed?

Fiat Doblo 12 window cleaning van

Vauxhall Vivaro Professional Window Cleaning Van Water fed pole wfp MUST SEE

Thanks

Liam
in a nutshell liam, neither would be good really, the vivaro, looks nice/has all the fancy halfords tat added to it-although hasn't had the windscreen mod done to it,on a 53 plate it'll be time for new injectors-expect to pay £800 ish for them, new clutch didn't mention a new slave cylinder, when that goes its another new clutch

the stystem has shiny lights etc but has the most expensive pre filters to replace and after spending all that money why didn't the owner lash out £100 for a split relay?

the smaller fiat has di only so you'd have to spend more money on an ro to make it economical

just my opinion, you can buy a very good brand new tank, installed with controllers etc for under 2k,poles and hosereels are cheap enough to buy new, that would leave a good amount of you budget left for a newer van and an ro stystem

You haven't mentioned if you got a small or a large rounds.

If you just are starting out then I say start small, get the best van you can get. I got a ford connect lwb 2011.

If you are just starting out then get

1 RO/DI System (£180 up to £330)

2 resin (i use tulsion... About 70 quid)

3 Gardiner pole (come with free brush head & hose)

5 Gardiner backpack( £ 85 plus vat)

6 10 x 25l jerry can (about £35.. Seach for the best deal)

7 Go and clean some windows, once u make some money u can upgrade

Each to their own etc, but id always go for the bigger van. You can fit a tank and still have enough room for a trolley and barrels and backpack. Always best to have to much space than not enough I.m.o

I think Jake mentioned he a one man band, he doesn't fill the tank right to the top.

He carry about 500l of water, he got a video of it on YouTube.

Where is he anyway? He not been on here for while!

Probably letting the dust settle after the barney on here. Time has past now Jake, come back mate, I need your info on the pressure washers!! (bit self indulgent that). Come back Jake, we miss you

I use a fiat doblo with a ionics pro 5 system and its a great motor with good fuel economy I've had the odd issues mainly down to the system wiring but all sorted with advice off here. So I'm a bit biased but I'd defo consider the fiat as a first van

All in the past. But with the forum filling up with newbies, (no problem with that) the familiarity feeling is going. Mr. Bump, Jake, Armagh etc come back!!!!

Yeah what barney ? What's happened to jake? There dropping like fliesJust wait till smurf comes back ...
We had a bit of a barney

End of the day we're all grown ups and can always set people to ignore if we really don't want to speak to them

No need to avoid the forum

@Jake don't hold on to bad feelings bud and come back on

And smurf..come back

more info needed here , do you need a ro syterm on the van ? do you park the van on your drive ? do you live in a flat ? ect ect

I surprised smurf had disappear, he use to help me out answering a lot of my Qs when I first join up to this forum, so has Jake when getting my new van.

We all enjoy the odd wind up and we all pi$$ each other off from time to time but I personally think Smurf took it to a point where that's all he wanted to do. God forgive you if you ever had the nerve to disagree with him /emoticons/tongue.png
