Right am looking to find out what you guys would use for upv frame cleaning when doing first cleans and how diluted you would do it . Cheers

Happy new year all

I've only ever used Virosol. Make up a solution of 10:1 (10 parts water to 1 part virosol) and put it in a 1 litre spray bottle. Spray on the brush and clean. It suds up so more rinsing than normal will be needed.

Yep, exactly the same as tuffers, virosol at 10:1.

Insolently, if your looking for a decent pump action sprayer, just bought a blinding one in wilkos

Yeah I got one from Wilkos too. 3 litre I think it is. Can't find the link for it now.

No wikos up here but cheers I've 10 litres of both so will test and try to get what suits me best going on you guys mix dilution

They both do the same job

Ubik i find ruins my hands so i prefer virosol

I also think virosol is a bit stronger on the glass for a first clean

Ubik is great on plastic as well as virosol but ubik i think leaves a good shine on the upvc

Ok cheers will use virisol on Windows leave ubik for g f s cleaning
Virosol is a lot easier to stain upvc with if you let it dry on the upvc so i usually use it for first cleans as it will never have time to dry scrubbing with a wet brush

When i do fascias with it i don't let it dwell but just put it on the brush and scrub and rinse

will have to try both of these at some point i see everyone always mentioning them

ive always used autosmart G101 which is just a highly concentrated all purpose cleaner

Yes

Only if left to dry on the glass/upvc

Ubik will stain also but not as easily (strong virosol mix seems to stain easier than strong ubik mix but don't let either dry out)

With virosol there is no need to let it dwell

When i do fascias etc it instantly melts the grime off no matter how bad so no need to allow time to soak
