new uni valve looks mint

He did.Hes now sacked other forums due to people slagging him off

Its all a bit dramatic aint it?

If he acted on his emails/phone calls/social media, people wouldn't be so quick to "slag him off"

A couple of days ago he wrote on his Facebook page he was quitting his account as it took up too much time and today he's on chat?

Statements like I'm not doing poles anymore because there hassle, or words to that effect, pisses me as I bought one of them.

With the interest created over his univalve he failed to keep it with any updates, unless a post was started. (I know there has been machining difficulties)

I wrote on ciu it was appalling he had not replied to a tubeless conversion thread to help the guy, while at the same time active in another thread.

Nice bloke when I met him, great ideas for the industry but seems **** at managing the business.

Ive heard another supplier, geared to customer service, will launch a water stop device that does away with the loop in the next 12 weeks.

I know where my monies going.

I concur never answers calls or messages, I payed a £10 delivery charge for stuff that turned up a week later, he always blames everyone else. The decision to stop selling Aquadapters and spares is highly curious as there is now a gap in the market, one of his wfp suppliers is fuming they were selling Aquadapters by the shed load and he's been ignoring there messages regarding the availability of the phantom-valve for months.

when steve was at the show he never took any spairs with him lol i thault that was a bit strange as people would have probly got a load of springs and baynets ect i just dont think his head is fully in it some times if u no wat i mean he promest me he would send some springs to me if i put a review on his pole hose on ciu i did the review and never reseved any thing not that i was fussed but y say ur guna and then dont bother i ev en pmed him on fb to c if he would or not he blanked my pms wich i thault was funny

I would have asked for the springs to be delivered before the review.

He did replace 100mtr of hose for me free of charge, that said what was sent out was different to what was ordered

Sorry to upset the apple cart here, but I've had 3 aqua dapters of him and his service including after care sending spare springs was second to none. Not taking sides, its an open forum so just giving my opinion

There are always going to be a 'lucky' few who managed to slip through the vast keep net of shoddy service if the rumour is true regarding the competitors equivalent let's hope they update us on the product.

rumor as it two other companys bring there own to market as well same idear as the uni value , from two of the better companys that carry stock and have world class customer service if this is true hes dead in the water and will soon be history

If so. Hes dead.

Why he stopped selling the Auadapter is the biggy realy.

He admits its ****** him off. The amount of money hes lost. Stopping selling the pole was his biggest mystery. I have a 18ft pole under warranty. Clamp keeps coming off. He said to glue it. I said "why should I. Its under warranty." He said post it and ill repair it. "you pay postage then" he sent glue out. Its come off 3 times now. I bought a Gardiner pole this week. Ill ebay his pole. Shame because I love the pole. So light and clamps are good. Main thing was. NO BLACK HANDS. Gardiner poles are bad for that. So we await the valve.....hmmmmm

gardners and who is the other compney?

What put me off was when I added a couple of small bits to my basket and shipping was £9.00 for something that wouldnt cost £5 recorded.

If he's struggling that much why does he not just sell design rights to one of the players with the funding and gumption to bring it to market successfully?

The plot thickens with this guy I have seen his poles and they were very good, infact they may have been the best, but customer service is dreadful a window cleaner on here I know personally thinks they are lighter than SLX Poles, his reason for stopping production was 'to concentrate on valves' but there is no valve so what is he actually selling, there are no Aquadapters, no Valve, no Aquadapter spares and no poles so can you just buy hose of him?

So, the famous unicorn valve may be released, has it been tested in the field?

Mark has been trailing another one, for 3 months now. (gardiners I think, but respected the fact he could not tell me. Although he did say it was brilliant)

Ive gone from excitement to take the **** mode as its just more fun.

Will love to watch the feedback before I buy

Tony
