Astravan envoy max tank size

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I paid just shy of a grand mate Wcw was thinking of buying a astravan sport van would be tidy set up not loads of room but would just about do it and the look nice

I don't understand why you would pay so much for essentially a tank..pump..controller and reel

A lot cheaper to do it yourself and not exactly rocket science

agree with dave, measure the back & buy a baffled tank,(shureflo pump, controller etc)much cheaper.it depends whether you are diy minded, not everyone is

Fair play to the guys who are DIY minded. I'm definitely not [emoji23]

I think it's comes down to more than just cost though. If you buy a system from a supplier you're paying not only for the system but for the convenience, the warranty, the after sales support etc.

the trouble with some of the suppliers NOT ALL, once they have sold and fitted a system they don't want to know if things go wrong.if you get a good supplier- fitter I can see it takes the time and stress of fitting it yourself

Il look that up,any idea what they price at ?

I am going to be fitting it out myself, like someone said its not rocket science (I hope!!) but thanks for all your posts, if anyone has a 350 going for sale, second hand ?? But then I also think is a second tank going to be ok, as in if who ever owned didn't use brilliant p/w ppm would it then be contaminated?? All new to me so ...if I'm over thinking it tell me

There not that expensive, don't take any risk, just get a new one

make sure its baffled or you will be rocking like a rocking horse when stopping and starting.usually second hand tanks are bullet proof

Nice one everyone, 350 it is, gardener slx22 or 25 then pump, flow control , reel, microbore, and it's game set match, agreed ?

also get loads of spares for breakdowns-connectors,tools-hose cutters-tape etc, everything.carry everything.one break down can be the difference between a good day and a no work day, trust me

Reason i bought it is simply zero time to mess about lol..and it will only go to tax man anyway

But it doesn't all come off your tax bill

It is another almost a grand untaxable (off your earjings) So you will spend nearly a grand but save a couple of hundred off your tax bill

Also need advice on pole now I've ordered a gardiner slx 25 and I went for the quick snap hose fitting ?? Is this a good move as when your on their ordering page they give you so many options for what brush what this what that! I'm winging it to be honest
