Hey guys after power washing a block paved drive yesterday I went back today and resanded it I then sold the customer sealant and that it really makes the colours pop ect ect but unsure what sealer is best and how much should I be paying ? Where do you boys buy it from and what's the best way to go about it?? It's about 160sqm

I have tried them all

Resiblock and adseal are good but very very expensive

I have now found a supplier who I have used for 2 year and it's just as good and a third of price

I can get it very cheap for you has I've become pally with the owner

When sealing it really does give a amazing effect and highlight the colours in the stone

Always spray the paving makes the sealer go further and much more even coat and takes a hour to do a big drive

Make sure the spayer is washed out well after or it will seal up all the joints like glue and you will have to throw away

Sealer cleaner is expensive so what I do is poor a little petrol into it and spray it through and it's like brand new!!!

I can make more of sealing a drive then cleaning it

Yeh that's exactly what's just happened to me done a cheap price for washing and sanding just to test out my new kit from Ben at Rutland pumps. Then sold him the sealing for almost twice what I charged for the above.

Up to how long after washing and resanding can you leave it untill you seal it ? I think we have rain for the next week where I am so can't get back to do the job.

Any chance Stevie you can pm me where you get you sealer from I will put a good word in for you :)

I'll do that pal no worries

And I deal on the day I sand because it's had a good sweep

If sand then go back weeks later there will be **** on drive

Am I right in saying it's fine to do tho if you have a good sweep down ect first ? And up to how long again untill the sealer is no good and needs to be re pressure washed and sanded and re sealed again ? Sorry to be picking your brain like this on a Friday nite but all questions custy asked that I didn't have a clue about.

THNAKS STEVIE :)

Sealing on blocks lasts well specially if give 2 good coats

It will set the sand like mortar as well

How long it lasts all depends on the drive conditions light and drainage etc

Does look mint tho

You must get the surface really clean which isn't hard because anything in the blocks will be sealed there
