What would you recommend for a pole for five stories work. I've been looking at the super max 50. Are they any good ? Can't efford the Extreme 47 (wish) thanks

The smax50 is a good pole.

A friend of mine has one that gets used loads and says its a good pole.

Side by side in comparison against the 47 extreme ,the extreme will be lighter and stiffer but the max will reach slightly higher at around 55ft.

We have had several clients ask this type of question so we have just posted a video showing the two poles - SMAX50 and X3 Xtreme47 - in use on a 5 storey property - neither pole is fully extended, but are being used at about 42ft in the videos.

i have the super max 47 compact gardners no longer sell it its probly about the same waight as the new super max 50 i find it easy to wrk with to b fair even fully extended at full strech its a bit bendy but no problim realy with a supreme brush and no heavy aquadapter on the end( old type) lol ide not hesatate in geting a nother one ill probly get the 50 ft when i get a n other one

The 47 looks a lot rigid then the 50. I'm in catch 22 I'm turning work away because of the pole size. I may wait save a bit more for the 47

What cannot be shown in the video is just how much easier the Xtreme47 is to use than a standard carbon pole such as the Super-Max50.

If you only need the pole for occasional work of limited time quantity then the Super-Max50 makes a good option, but for those carrying out a lot of high level work the Xtreme47 is a much easier option to work with.

if i was u tho ide get the 50 m8 its only 3ft longer so there wont b that mch ,more bend in it at least then u should b able to reach most high level jobs:)

I guarantee you that if you were to use both poles you would buy the xtreme 47. It is much easier to use and trust me, at 45/50ft every gram of weight and every degree of extra rigidity counts.

It's only going to come out once in a blue moon. So in 2 frames of mind which one to go for. Think I'm just going to go with the 50. Different story if I was using it every day
