What do people prefer and why? I can see benefits of both so thought I'd get as many opinions as possible. Cheers guys.

I had in on the back door in old van and now side door in this van.

Overall i would say back door is best, and am planning on moving mine back when i get chance.

Reason being on side door you have to have van facing the right way otherwise your pulling round the van, back doors you can park anyway same difference.

Mines always been permantey in the van not tried lifting reel in and out this may solve the problem as you can put reel where you like, i might try it...

But i think im going to route it under the van and have it on a winch roller at the rear centrally.

I have my real on a piece of waterproofed ply and it sits out the back doors have the ply so I can stand on wood and reel don't bounce about when pulling it in

I have 2 x reels. one fixed reel by the back doors, and a reel you can take in and out, best of both worlds.also a back pack wedged in the corner.efficient and fast

Mine has two ports.

One inside by back doors so if I'm on a small job and working near van I will work with door open as it's nice and easy.

And one port under van at back great for big jobs when I can get the real out and point it in the direction and lock van.

I have to side doors but space by them is were the tank is.

yeh i know steve,/emoticons/sad.png i wasn't inviting any cottaging comments etc,or pm's

i was just thinking i've got along so nicely for many a year working from the back door a side door option would be of no benifit to me,besides i have a vivaro with only one side door which is about three foot from the back door/and on the same side, in pratice i know which position to park to make the job easier-if it means parking further up the street then so be it its no big hassle

been at this game for a long while and i honestly see no need to over complicate things unless it makes the work quicker and easier

rich, you haven't answered the question, you have an ionics logo on your van,and you haven't an ionics stystem fitted,we all know that they chase you and can bring legal proceedings for false advertisement, besides the fact it means nothing to the average customer you may need to remove that logo

I only put it on there as it was on the graphics on the website I used to design the van.

I'm happy enough to remove them if I get a call or letter etc.

when I used them I new that there would be a chance of a phone call one day lol
