View attachment 7189 Hi

lads could do with a second opinion on a price for pressure washing this area 50ft by 50ft, just to check I am on the ball with this one as first outing with the pressure washer.

It's green as well Was just going to go over once to get think off, then Ubik with sprayer 5 minutes and rinse off. I recond about half a days graft ?

Any recommendations or help would be appreciated.

With a rotary that would take me maybe 2 hours tops including setting up and breaking down and packing everything away, super easy slabs like that, dream job.

£120.

I was thinking 4 hours including set up as its first time pressure washing. Your a pro though and do it all the time, you now what first jobs are like. Thanks for the advice much appreciated.

You need to be happy with the price, but use this as a way to gain experience as well, but big flat areas of slabs without pointing are pretty much the easiest jobs you will ever get pressure washing /emoticons/smile.png

That area looks bigger than the pics 50m by 50 m is big area

Also looks like will need coning off and doing before public about

Water supply?

On area like that and looking like its a company I'd be charging 450

50ft by 50ft mate /emoticons/smile.png

Ha well still large area

Would you really quote 120?

After fuel, machine costs and the inconvenience of public and tax be left with barely anything?

May be I'm overpriced but even at 50ft by 50ft I'd be looking £350

300 U find it be busy area do it Sunday morning first pop from get there till finish 3-4 hours

Hypo it first . Why wud u use ubik after power washing

talk about jumping in the deep end most people start off with domestic work. as said above why would you be using ubik?! you want to be using hypo here if you have any. and i would measure the area and charge £2 sqm2 i never guess always measure you look a cowbody picking numbers from the top of your head looks like a £200 job to me and do it during a busy time if your aloud

Some interesting views and that's what I love about forums

The slabs from what I can see look like common greys payments usually are

These can be prime to lichen black Spurs etc but until last the area is clean you won't be able to tell

So clean the area then apply hypo to the areas needed and rinse with hose do not pressure wash it

Williams recommended doing when it's busy but factor in the noise and that staff etc will be walking in and out, public passing and cars if there is a car park

Then if using hypo you could end up in a heap of trouble with staff and public trailing it on there shoes all over the place, last thing you won't is someone passing and jumping straight in there cars with hypo all over there soles

Get there early clean it get it rinsed before any public and people are about

glancing at the photo it looks to me like the area leading to restaurant doors is cordened off this is something i had allready conidered fair point about noise mind with the public around

My biggest concern was the hypo

It's hard to tell from the pics but these restaurants are usually on retail parks etc

I may be overly paranoid when using chemicals in public areas all it takes is one trail straight from some rinsed hypo into there new jag and your in big trouble

But that said there it's hard to tell from the pics the surrounding areas

yes fair point on hypo @Eviestevie we should all be carefull with this stuff i am allways paranoid about using it around peoples homes with pets etc !!
Can never be to careful Williams with hypo it's potent stuff!

That's why I never pressure wash the stuff may as well spray it in the air on the surrounding areas

Would have some nice streaks in our hair tho!!!
