Great stuff Richie, those are decent prices indeed. I've only got two houses on my round so far, priced higher than your top bungalow one there lol

Aye think you guys are probably at least another quarter on top of my local house prices.

I'm probably around 70 to 80 houses so far, (need to type up these week 1,2,3,4 profile sheets) and just taking my time with the houses I've got. How big is your round?

Chapped that area mentioned from yesterday's work, and chapped another area I'd done yesterday. Also got two fb pms from leaflet drops two days ago (had fb page link on leaflets)

91 pound total four weekly increase from today's canvassing, happy days. All 6.50 jobs, mainly flats with five windows...

I just started 2 weeks ago but I'm up to 12 bungalows worth £120 4 weekly /emoticons/smile.png. Trying to make a bungalow exclusive round.

Doin well @Chris33 . I just wonder if your making a rod for your own back at £6.50 per house?

how many houses you reckon you can clean in a day?

I quoted 3 houses off fb yesterday at £8 each didnt get a single one, ive often thought about lowering my prices to get more work but whenever i clean a house for that cheap it just feels wrong.

Hi Adam,I know it's not loads but it's enough that I'm sometimes being turned down at that price and where the average price here is 4/5 pound max. I was thinking 20 houses a day eventually

I'm a few weeks in and managing ten a day so far doing Trad. Have big boy kit to use once I get good with it. Think that figure of 20 a day is doable? Target was £2500 every four weeks at 20 houses a day (20 days every four weeks) . Charging between 6 to 6.50 mate.

Those are well priced Richie! I know locally I'd struggle at those prices, a lot of big and reputable operators are doing two and three bed semis at 5 pounds here.

A Bungalow round sounds a good idea and fast work bud.

One more call back from today's leaflets in area (where no one answered door chap) ,another 6.50 flat. Four windows here.

Just under 100 today I think and tightened up that area of round somewhat.

My area is also quite low priced.

As for how many a day it depends how compact your work is, i can only do about 15 a day but there spread about, ive heard of people doing 30-40 a day so it all depends mate. Mind you by a day i mean about 6 hours, i could probably do 20 if i worked 9-5.

One thing i would take into consideration is although 20 a day, 5 days a week @ 6.50 would be £650p per week or £2600 every 4 weeks, you have to remember that the most you can turn over in the month, not taking into account rain delays, van/equipment breakdowns, sickness. Not to mention chasing the money, messers etc.

None of this matters though mate, youre doing well and im sure as you go along youll come to your own conclusions and experiences of how to move the business forward.

Thanks Adam,I've based those figures off 20 days a calender month to limit days I'm rained off etc.

Bad payers will be replaced with other customers, simple as. And I'll add a pound to houses I replace them with.

The way my rounds looking so far is I'm trying to get 20 in each of my local towns, some towns 40 so two days work there. Keeping in compact per day that way (houses close by in same towns) and putting them on a four weekly cycle.

Really thinking of a van already, but perhaps a nice mokka to replace my corsa and a trailer. I'll no doubt be asking advice re that sometime.

Call back from yesterday's drop, two 7.50 4 weekly third level flat windows. Yesterday's total about 115 4 weekly increase.

Need a van pretty soon, Im thinking a Peugeot partner would be ideal for 20 houses a day wfp from what I've read.

Thats kind of the way im doing it with the towns on a certain week except

I have split my city into north/east/south/west and have them on weeks, 1,2,3,4

This works well with facebook as rather than concentrating on 1 or 2 towns which you would miss out on a lot of enquirys, you can pick up spread out work and still tag it onto the nearest job.

Well tonight my mum told me not to operate near where she teaches cos the kids might slag her about having a son who's a windy. Nice. Ever get the feeling no one believes in you, but yourself?lol

Canvassing continues tomorrow regardless! Going to try tighten up a few more areas this week. Only ten cleans on this week 4 cycle, and hope to get another 20 plus punters this week.

Tonight has also brought two more new jobs, one random one at 7 and one at 6.50. The 7 pound one is village work and there's supposedly no windy there so that whole village is getting chapped this week.

remember this when she needs wheeling around in a wheel chair! she'll still be able to hold the pole!

Well yesterday I leaflet dropped a few hundred houses where I've two customers, and will leaflet drop the rest this week .. And chap all doors a few days later.

Today was better! Had two customers down a sea front area, chapped some doors and got another four 6.50 jobs there and a probable 7.50 job.

Think I'm sitting at 650 per four weeks now, actually added it up today and it's around that figure.
