Tidyish van.

I'm enjoying my trad too much but also the days i give Damo a hand i am happy to stick waggle all day on his customers

When i started wfp i was determined i wouldn't need to trad

After chatting with my mate polz i realised how much i actually missed trad

It really makes a difference to how i feel all day at work and i get to play the polzn bladz 0 detailing game again

I won't take any risks nowadays and am happy to wfp tops most days and trad bottoms

Decided this week is 100% trad unless i need to wfp an awkward one over a roof or when i think the ladder will be dodgy

Do do do doo doo....I'm lovin it

It can be extremely quick and easy especially with a backpack and short hose so no relling in hose etc but where's the fun in that lol

Been thinking lately on getting a backpack. I'm sure it must be quicker on certain houses to carry the backpack out with a short hose rather than pull loads of hose out get it caught on everything then the worst part reeling in which can be harder work than the cleaning. I do have a trolley but find it a faff swapping barrels and it's **** on bumpy roads. I think backpack could speed me up in some situations.

Show offNot as fun as trad though

I don't know how you couldn't like trad mate
It's the ladders more than actually tradding. I still trad inside jobs (obviously) and trad the odd window here and there but I much prefer playing with my pole.

I regularly chat to a guy who works with his cousin 2 man 2 backpacks

Smash out an average 3 bed in the time you would take setting up and packing away a van mount

Maybe I should start playing with it by myself more rather than letting the wife play with it.

I think there might be something in it. Especially in certain situations such as van facing the wrong way or where you have a few close together but requires van moves.

Not to mention those really snaggy gardens where you have to keep going back and untangling. Think I might order one

For 105 quid delivered why not!!

I can do an average 3 bed with half a backpack so if it's one of those jobs where it is a ball ache to get to the back with hose just 1/3 fill.it and it will be plenty and not heavy

I have also found that working with backpacks uses less water than a van mount

Don't know why but it does

Maybe because the flow is usually set lower

I'm trying to keep away from the handyman stuff...as an ex-carpenter I know how much time can be lost pricing, ordering and collecting materials...sometimes I can't help myself, I see elderly customers struggling with a UPVC door that's dropped or a window that needs reputtying etc...I open my big mouth and I've got more work I don't really want...got some old dear whose window beads have rotted...I've promised to replace them but I'm not looking forward to it.
