Muchais gracious!!!

There's a thread on another forum about this company. They seem to be targeting the North. A few from Yorkshire have said they have come across them.

Any customers that you lose to them are fickle!

They are buying a round without capital.

Unfortunately from what I know they did the same in the commercial sector and it did work. From what I was shown. They plan Togo uk wide.

It won't work on domestics. Commercial yes.

Any reason @CHWS you dislike?

They don't even have the .co.uk domain extension; that's pretty cheap and dodgey, or can anyone get a co.uk domain there?

Here in Australia, you want a .com.au domain you gotta have a business number - is not available at all for personal use.

Anyway looks like the Google of window cleaning is coming top a town near YOU /emoticons/smile.png

Like a total wave - best buy a snorkel /emoticons/wink.png

Don't mean to wander off-topic, but I've officially registered both business number and company named with ASIC plus got the .com.au domain and a merchant paypal account.

Now I just have to get a clue how to start a business! /emoticons/smile.png

I just dislike people undercutting etc, I suppose it's not to say they will undercut. Iv lost a few houses this week and I'm assuming it's due to undercutting as it's been about the same area

They generally charge a higher rate as they "take longer" than us lowly cleaners.

The dislike means you dislike the post. Not the content. I would change it to an agree /emoticons/wink.png

Not necessarily iv seen plenty of people use a dislike as in this way to dislike the content

Anyone can get a .co.uk domain. Only .ltd are restricted as far as I am aware. Oh and .gov etc. But com or co is your own choice.

It is actually intended generally for a dislike of the posting, not the content, if you agree with @Eviestevies dislike of the leaflets then @Damo is right, using 'Agree' would be more appropriate.
Unless your names Jake

Although this is a bit of a non issue, the dislikes, likes, etc tally up on your profile, so if you have a load of dislikes against your name, it makes you look bad and users trust you less. It's a bit like eBay feedback. That's the theory anyway.

On the leaflets- just let them do their thing, and we do ours. Those customers will soon get the hump with the high turnover of staff , and the odd bad interaction with someone on minimum wage will soon get them picking up the phone for a more personal service.

Wonder if this company plan to operate in Petersfield....my house could do with a free clean....would totally screw them if every windie arranged a free clean....if only there was a community of window cleaners that could arrange this.

Last year I gained a customer off them because the chap said they took less than five minutes to do his 18 pounds 4 bed house to clean. I have been doing it ever since and trust me you wont get much change from half hour with this one even if trying to do it quickly ..
