I guess I use a ladder once a day, normally to access a balcony or flat roof. Quite happy to take my time and be over cautious.
I reckon some of the die hard tradders like @Markyboy 50 would agree but after a certain amount of time it is instinctive with ladders

I sometimes am starting to climb mine as the top touches the wall/sill (sometimes it feels like before it touches)

Cheers @OutlaneWC but saturdays are the only day i definately dont work as i look after kids.

Its in garforth btw so right on your doorstep, very big house tucked away from view.

@daveyboy bit far for you mate, plus we all know you only help damo :hehehe:

Ok mate, if you ever go full time its always good to have an extra pair of hands to call on, give me a shout if i can ever be of assistance.

But not on a weekend

Adam and Outland . Do you work in garforth . Have you come across clear vision . White Vauxhall van sign written . I know he does a lot over there .

Yep I'm the same Daveyboy. I'm up 3 rungs before it's hit the sill. Shouldn't do it really. Old habits die hard. Took me years to stop coming down the ladder 2 rungs at a time.

That's because wfp'ers tell porkys to get the jobI explain if asked that after a fall a few years ago and a few nasty falls some friends have had (and the fact I'm getting older lol) i am using wfp on the tops to be safer and make sure i go home at night

No need to make rubbish up

Although i will use ladders when i feel to but won't take risks nowadays

Did a bit of roof walking in the hailstorms earlier though:confused::confused:
Exactly. And when a custy moans to me about the last wfper they had that scratched their glass, I just nod and put a concerned look on my face. It's just part of the game to get the work. Damn those wfpers with their soaking wet plastic brushes going around scratching windows, *shakes fist in the air*.
