Hey guys

As there are quite a few newbs lately and me aswell only a few months in, there is probably alot of us wondering if we clean to slowly.

I'm talking wfp maintanance cleans.

Is there anyone experienced willing to post up a video of them carrying out a maintanance clean on say, a 3 bed terrace or semi

I reckon we could all take some huge advice and build on our own skills to help reduce clean times. Currently I'm 45 minutes on a 3 bed semi front back and side.

So....... anyone willing?

Thanks guys.

Holy moly, 45mins on a maintenance clean???

Run brush across the top a couple of times, up/down over the glass and side frames at least twice on each area, scrub bottom, rinse, wipe ledge, next window and repeat.

It should take about 10-12mins per semi give or take.

A video would be good to see. I only started in November and I would say about 15 minutes on 3 bed semi now but was a lot slower. I found it was more about having confidence in the cleaning method that sped me up and getting a bit busier.

Uploading a quick one now, just cleaned the front window with the little one filming, she jabbers on none stop though. Also it was filthy, can't afford a window cleaner, so this was a lot slower than normal tbh.

Ignore the jabbering, like I said earlier this window was minging so it took a lot more cleaning than normal, but still only a minute and a half give or take.

That window was filthy, I would class it as a first clean ish...... it was probably cleaned about 6 months ago the last time. Window cleaners round here are to much money.

How are you doing your first cleans mate? If you describe how and what you're doing we'll be able to give you some tips [emoji106]

I enjoyed the jabbering, that fella taking to long bodging that window ruined it for me /emoticons/wink.png

That's great thanks.

I think my techniques pretty much the same. I'm using a backpack so maybe flow rates slowing me down?

Also do you leave water on whilst going over the frames.

Ubik seems to foam up alot also and rake a while to rinse off.

Never used UBIK, or, well, anything but a brush, elbow grease and water.

Scrub hard and fast, rinse, move on.

Hang on, here is another video, forgot about this, a connie that was green all over, just pure water.

Oh also, that connie is with a back pack. back packs no different to a van mount, just a water holder with a pump.

You'll get used to it, I work like that none stop all day, crack on get it done.

Most people don't realise but window cleaning is hard graft.

If you get something stubborn don't just keep hammering it, leave it wet and move on to another part, let it dwell for a few seconds, then come back to it and 9 times out of 10 it will brush off, if not let it sit wet longer and repeat.
