Has anybody got one of there units and if so what do you think ? - I saw a You tube clip of one being in use and it seems robust enough and it seems a steal at £200 on e-bay - feedback would be greatfully appreciated - Thanks Terry

Are you referring to that £220 pump box because if you are there is about £40 quids worth of stuff there and would take a hour to make at most.

Thanks Andy - So whats the story ? Do most people put their own system together -all advice gratefully received Thanks Terry

Why pay that for a sack barrow and a 25l drum ??

Buy a gardiners backpack

Decent aluminium trolley

Hose reel

Hose

Will cost about the same but will be a lot better to use and the backpack detaches for jobs where you need to go through houses etc

Daveyboy can you tell me what hose and hose reel you use and where you got them.

Thanks

Den.

Cant speak for davieboy, but myself and several others got the small reell out of wilkos (about a tenner). Then just add 60 m of microbore

Thanks for the answer Steve, complete newbie here will I have to buy any special connectors to connect the hose.

Den.

That JC sprayers is just the Essex side of the Dartford crossing I bought my 50ft carbon China pole off him. He has a big unit on a dairy farm bulk buys thousands of units at a time and makes em up. When I went down he had just had 500 battery crop sprayers deliverd. Quite often he has just the spray arms for sell left over from conversion. He sell pairs of duel trim brushes on eBay a lot as well. Does a few bits and bobs connecters. The unit is massive and full of gear.

I never use more than 25 mtrs of pole hose so I just hand coil it and hang it on a hook on the trolley handle. Many of the properties I clean require a much shorter hose so I carry three lengths in my car. 25,15,10mtrs. I just select which is best suited for the work I'm doing. Keeps everything nice and light. Except for the water of course.

My thinking was if using a backpack you wouldn't need the extra hose but being new I honestly don't know, maybe I will just have a 5 to 10m mini bore hose extension for between backpack and pole.

Thanks

Den.

Iv'e bitten the bullet on the JC sprayer and will get it later this week - i will do a review and let you know what the story is

That's very impressive trolley Jimmy, my diy skills are zero lol, reckon with a build quality like yours you could sell plenty of those.

Thanks for the reel link and the time to help.

Hi Den- I got mine last week three initial comments

It does seem robust

I didn't realize the battery is half size - needs charging every other day for me

No filter on the inlet pipe (no major issue)

I will post comments after a month or so of real use

I'd go for weight saving over one charge every three days any day. I rigged my freedom trolley this way. I much prefer it. It's a breeze lifting it in and out of my car now. I pop it on charge every night and keep a spare battery in the car.

They are basically backpack internals with a uprated pump, they are supposed to do Battery wise roughly thirty barrels, just hadn't had time to try all my new stuff out properly lots going on atm but initial thoughts fell they are OK to good for the money.
