What pole 35/40ft

Hello every one,I would like some advise on what pole to purchase.

My current poles are x-line v2 pro 25ft and unger hiflo 22ft.

I want to avoid buying extensions for the poles I have, even though this would be cheaper usually,it would not be for my poles due to the unger having a damaged section that would need replacing, and I'm happy with the size and weight of the x-line.

This year I have had to turn some good jobs down as I just can't reach the windows,so I'm going to bite the bullet and invest more in to the company.

So I'm thinking of just going the hole hog and getting ever a 35 or 40 ft,this way I would hope to be able to reach most residential windows/velux if the roof has a steep pitch.

Budget from £300 to £500

Happy to go with hybrid poles but not unger

If any one has a pole they can recommend with in my budget that be great /emoticons/smile.png

you should be able to reach most residential window with a gardiner slx 25.

Gardiner poles are measured in actual length so a slx 25 + your body height should reach around 30ft the height of most town houses or homes with loft conversions.

If you really do need a longer pole I would go for a gardiner extreme.

I invested in an SLX40 in 2009. Still works fine with old style clamps.

It doesn't get used all that often. Full extended only a couple of times a month. I also bought it to target higher buildings which I never did as we quickly picked up too much ordinary work. I also found my SLX40 doesn't reach some higher windows overlooking the sea. Another local windie (on here from time to time) has an SLX47 which is all he needs to reach those. Have passed a few enquiries his way.

An SLX40 (carbon fibre) will just be outside your budget with tax, but includes brush etc.

Thanks for all the help,I have decided to go with the Gardiner 39 SLX.

Looking forward to delivery day

I find my 22ft & 30ft covers everything.

I own a 50ft xline pole, been extended once in 12 months to clean some solar panels.

It's for the odd window or odd house. Some times I'm having to put a ladder up against gutters on exstentionse and things to reach the windows,it's not so much the height as is more loosing length with buildings that jut out.

Thanks again all.

I set my vans out with 1.slx25 as a everyday pole and 1 ex47 this covers 98.% of any work we get any higher then that its my ultermate pole best thing ive bought for going up high
