have a butchers at this..I'm finally allowed to talk about it..woohoo

I had 1 that did that so i superglued it as i don't use the swivel optionMy other 3 handles are still fine

Never used the swivel on the black handle so glued/fixed because loved the feel of it in hand especially on the 18 and 22 channels. Since 'welding' it locked at 25° I love it. Have never had problems with the bi component either and actually jammed it in a vice last week and modded the angle of that to 25° And with a 12 or 14" channel it has been transformed. By the by the little mod with pin, wire or plastic retention at the clips for the rubber has absolutely cured all 'line' issues that happen when you get a touch sloppy. This new handle absolutely looks the business. My PayPal account has just broken out in a sweat of anticipation... /emoticons/smile.png

I do like these handles and I like the ability to use the swivel option, I use that all the time. But over a short time the 4 little plastic knurls that lock it wear down and then it swivels when not wanted. I also like to set it to 0 deg for some work.

Those new handles look like they may be good option the replace these..lets hope

So you're assuming that because I DIY I can't afford to replace or invest in kit as needed? /emoticons/smile.png Really? I don't think you understand what I mean. I DIY Wagtails because I find it appalling that after a month of heavy use it doesn't work properly because of tight assed cost cutting in manufacture and cobbled together bits used from other experiments to create a 'revolutionary model'. 1-2 months on a squeegee is NOT a reasonable interval. In modding and 'fixing' the issues you then let the manufacturer know how easy it would be to protect that pivot point...i.e. a $1 smooth shanked bolt that rides nicely on the plastic and doesn't act like a bloody coarse file every time you use it. The thanks is generally a pillorying letting you know in no uncertain terms that you are the only idiot that has this problem and any way there shouldn't be a problem now because he's used a bigger bolt...HUH? So lets not get too sentimental about this. It's not about personalities involved, its about a product that makes my life easier. Finally Boar, I like Wagtail so much that quite frankly if as much care and attention was given as it appears Moerman has done with the Exelerator then I'd happily pay double what Willies asking price is + plus happily hold the handkerchief to stem the blood flow from the exorbitant international freight charges. After all being a business owner you'll understand that it is tax deductible... /emoticons/smile.png
Totally agree with you Eric, but steady on paying double!!
