I'm always quick to moan about crappy customers so thought I'd even things out a bit and share a couple of messages I've had in the last day or two.

One customer sent me a message last week asking if she could pay this week because she was broke. Really nice girl, works, nice house, always pays on time etc so I was a bit surprised that she was that hard up this month. I told her it wasn't a problem and to transfer it when she could. Had a message from her this morning saying that she'd paid for this month, plus next month and paid me 'interest'. I checked my account and she'd paid me an extra fiver.

Second customer forgot to leave her side gate unlocked last month. She paid in full online before I could get back to her and let her know that I'd only done the front. I told her I'd give her a shout when I was round her way next and come and do the back as she'd already paid in full. I totally forgot to go back so this month I told her to just pay half and I'd do the whole house. She said she would pay the full amount as it was her mistake by not unlocking the gate.

We all **** and moan about the bad ones, but there are plenty of good ones, otherwise we probably would all have given up long ago.

That's very true. The vast majority of mine are good and I'm starting to deal/get rid of the bad ones. I think I've been a bit too lenient with some of them but I'm busy enough now that I can happily get rid of them.

I'd a customer gave me an extra 10r because she wasn't out of her bed for me coming, and she didn't need to be out of it until we started the insides. Argued i didn't want it. Had my dad help me that morning and he near took the hand off her for it /emoticons/smile.png)

It gets a bit awkward when it's like that. I normally decline, they insist, and I end up accepting it and telling them I'll get my kids some sweets with it.

I went round to one old girl a couple of weeks ago and she was on the phone as she came to the door. Nice old girl, husband was taken into a care home with Alzheimer's just before Xmas so she's on her own. She said she was ringing round garden centres, B&Q etc because she needed some compost delivered as she had no way of getting it herself. I told her not to be so daft and that I'd go and pick it up for her. Got back twenty mins later and she tried giving me £20. I told her i wasn't doing it for the money and was trying to save her money. In the end I agreed to take a fiver to put in the baby's money box.

I cleaned an awkward window inside today. The one on the stairs. Used me pole. Took 2 mins. She tried to pay me but I said nope. I will have a cuppa instead. She must be 70 but is fit. A gilf. I would;)

Nice. Nothing wrong with a gilf.

After watching dolly parton at Glastonbury, I couldn't stop thinking about grinding her

She looks pretty grindable, why didn't you suggest another form of payment?

Not a lot of people have good opinions of us windies mate or of the town in general

Good on you showing we're not all bad

Cheers mate. She's a good old girl. Always gives me an extra quid for the windows and gave me a nice Xmas tip. It only took me half an hour but it made her day [emoji1360]

2 old fellas in a care home, one says to the other "when was the last time you had sex?"

The other replied "nineteen fifty eight"

"bloody hell, you must be gagging for it" said the other.

"not really, its only twenty one hundred hours now" /emoticons/biggrin.png

All right chaps enough of the granny basher fantasies now.... I think that's showing a little too much customer appreciation. /emoticons/smile.png

Back on topic please.
