Love car boots.

Around six years ago me and the wife did a car boot sale to get rid of a load of the kids old toys.

There was a group of Asian guys crowding round the stall next to me and I heard the woman on the stall say "£50 is an absolute bargain, I won't take any less than £50". The guys shook their heads and walked off.

I went over to see what it was she was selling and it was her ex husbands watch. He'd done the off with some other bird and she was getting rid of all his stuff.

I checked it out to make sure it was legit and paid her £50. I do like my watches but this one wasn't to my taste so I sold it online for £400.

I went to a car boot a couple years ago and spotted roof bars for fords or vauxhalls with no channels on the roof as they bolt in behind the door rubbers still in the packaging with manual

Ebay was 60 quid 2nd hand

Asked the guy how much and he said give me 2 quid for it mate

Bargain of the year

I still use them now

Once read about a bloke who bought a tea pot at a car pot for 2 quid and sold it for £32,000
