I've just got back from holiday and my brain is really jumbled!!! I have three rounds one is my shops generally spread across there areas about 4 miles apart and usually do these on a Friday-Saturday. Other is local domestic consists of mainly large houses at high prices usually done Wednesday-Thursday and other is a compact regular round which I purchased from someone 3 years ago about 10 miles from my house all £10-£25 houses. My problem is now I've fallen behind and they are all overdue and everything is scrambling my brain badly!!! Lol I've got employees and can wiggle my way back to safety just wondering if any of you operate similarly or just have your work in one area and go round and round and round.

There's no need to panic and play catch up, just go on as if you haven't been away. If someone says something just explain you've been away, everyone needs a holiday and they should understand. I've just been away and no one has said anything to me. Half your customers probably haven't even noticed

Mine is slightly different in that it's all residential. But basically I do as above. Just carry on as if I've not been away.

Haha yeah I know most people don't really care tbh. I'm quite badly behind had one txt me the other day to ask if I was ok basically making sure I was still alive haha!!

I would have done the shops first but as its Saturday you need to make the call if they will last without cleaning another day or two. Residential will carry on with where you left off.

When I have a holiday say of 1 week, everything just gets pushed forward a week, so my 4 weekly customers go 5 weeks that time round.

i went to salou 15/may. just start back with the round which should have been done that week. you will be fine unless the rain puts you back again,

i have around 10 rounds split up for different days. theres rounds where i wouldnt be worried if i lost the odd winging customer. if they cant give a week or 2 without you on time. stuff them.

i have started to tell my customers i may be late this time of year, may-sept. we can just go if we get a good deal on holiday sites. if we see a very cheap good deal we can just go. this is what makes being self employed an advantage rather than being employed.

I have a monthly round, and 3 monthly round. The two time frames are both very variable but I manage to keep them all together, even though 1 or both run late.

Remember we are cleaning windows not delivering blood. I do get restless my self when I'm late, but only the odd grannie or bored house wife ever notices I'm late by a few days.

just start where you left off, if you were off 2 weeks then 4 weekly becomes 6, hardly anyone notices or gives a flying feck tbh

I have a monthly round and a 2 monthly round

The 2 monthly are less likely to notice

However i don't like to miss work so i do squeeze as much of the 2 monthly stuff as i can in a little early before i go away

And play catchup a bit with the monthlys once i get back just so i haven't lost a full week or 2 of my months earnings
