Should always quote a quality price for a quality job... too many cheap ones spoils it for rest of us.. im not the cheapest in my town but getting plenty of work I make sure do a good joband dont rush.. would rather clean less for higher payment than running round having to.do loads everyday and quality suffering. Just my view....

you should be able to do a roof only in under an hour . 20 quid per hour is normal enuf if your solo . hell i only charge 30 and thats with 2 employees in tow and make money on it [for regular customers only] and sometimes i charge a tenner .

I can not run a business on £20 an hour, and I've never been able to do a roof in under an hour.

Done a standard size conservatory this morning in 1hr 45mins. £75

The standard white upvc ones with polycarb roof i find really easy, Just soak them up good and proper and they are easy money.
