I know it is a book and i have read it it is alsoa good film which is unusual for a book adaptation

I prefer books to the film versions of them

I have the complete works of tolkien pretty much including the rare obscure stuff and first read lord if the rings etc when i was about 12

blair was great at first then god knows what happened, america did for him probably, but he did start to help people at the bottom which is where labour has got lost now , a country should be judged on how it treats its people that struggle, elderly, disabled etc which is what labour used to do, all the labour mps who just quit abstained from voting on the welfare bill, they should of been sacked just for that, corbyn voted against it, it also seems he also has never liked the eu but the labour blairites luv it so he was a bit stuffed there eh lol

but we should debate it , we should make our kids debate it, my youngest just left school & not once was there any discussion about what was happening in england ? i'm labour & have been since starting as an apprentice in the shipyards, but without really knowing why or understanding anything about politics just that the tories are always out to screw the working man & i should hate them & i do but cos of all this i'm starting to want to get more involved & get a better understanding , we fought 2 world wars to keep out the right wing so we shouldn't be letting it in now just cos some of what it says seems to superficially make sense
