What a Day!!! Referendum result proof of an Awakening happening

cheers buddy - i'll have a read over my sarnie at lunch... (although its currently raining so work might never happen /emoticons/sad.png)

Cameron saying that he is stepping down and a new leader will be elected by October, and then we can steer our way out slowly, is an attempt to kick this urgency into the long grass and delay things as much as possible. As I've said in another thread, watch out for Boris because he has already said that 'there is no rush to pull us out' when there clearly is as the majority are sick of EU tyranny and we voted out. Richard Branson has also come out and said that there should be another referendum once the people know the cost of us leaving and how it would effect us. It is all pathetic and desperation is kicking in big time for these people.

As the weeks go by, they will play down the issue of leaving the EU and hope that people begin to forget about it. It is so predictable. We must not forget and we must maintain pressure on them to enforce democracy and do as the people say they must do.

@Spartan Well I wouldn't be surprised if the delaying of it will anger a lot of people. Yeah for sure they'll try to frighten us into compliance and subjugation but now that the people have spoken, this issue cannot ever really go away. I mean say something awful comes in as a result of EU membership and they try to enforce it on the UK, the first thing people will think is: 'well we aren't a part of it'.

TTIP is an example. This trade agrement will allow multi nationals corporations to sue the government for damaging their profits, by for example, labelling Genetically Modified food (GM). Now these multi nationals have the EU in their top pocket and it will be rolled out on all of the EU countries without choice. The GM example is just one of many (research it).

But because of Brexit, they wouldn't be able to do it here because our 'leaders' will call the shots.

But this is what people need to understand and QUICKLY: our so called leaders and much of the hopefuls for this new PM, are puppets on a string for the elite. Yes Boris aswell. I hear today he has dropped out of the running for PM. What a surprise that was..how can you speak so passionately about Brexit, then win, then drop out of becoming PM knowing full well that you've left the gate open for anti brexit 'leaders'. I would suggest that he was commanded to drop out and he followed those commands. What a joke

In fact, I'd add to that that I'd say he was put on public display as a puppet campaigning for brexit, to give the illusion of choice and diversity in polictics when in truth there is none. He was made the figurehead of Brexit and then..holy ****..brexit won??? Oh boy. Well at least it made them cancel the laxitive orders.

Now he has been told to step aside and let business as usual resume as another puppet takes charge. You watch for someone like May becoming next PM. The fact that she is female will also be used to boost her rating when anyone with eyes can see that she is another Cameron clone.

Well thats what I see anyway..call me nuts /emoticons/smile.png

The new PM may well be tempted to go back to Brussels and ask for a better deal within the EU.

Or maybe a general election.....

If the EU have any sense, the European leaders will see the danger of Brexit contagion and offer the British and the wider Exit movement across Europe (Germany seem keen) something that recognises people’s concerns, meaning probably some brakes on immigration, adjustments to benefits & assistance.

This along with what David Cameron managed to secure, (weak i agree) could form the basis for a second referendum choice – Brexit or the “New Deal”.

Seeing as quite a few Leavers have changed their minds - they may go for it......

Most Tory MPs don't want to leave, labour either, Greens etc....

The problem is project fear has gone into overdrive now so I am sure there are a few getting nervous about their out vote. Its like a woman who has been beaten by her husband for years and finally decides to leave but just can't see to do it because she thinks he might stop beating her now as he promised.

Germany are calling for their own referendum at the moment, they also have a General election next year as does France, who are also calling for their own referendum.

The whole thing needs to collapse and be reborn as a bloody trade bloc like it always should of been!

Saw this sum up of current political parties situations:

So, let me get this straight… the leader of the opposition campaigned to stay but secretly wanted to leave, so his party held a non-binding vote to shame him into resigning so someone else could lead the campaign to ignore the result of the non-binding referendum which many people now think was just angry people trying to shame politicians into seeing they’d all done nothing to help them.

Meanwhile, the man who campaigned to leave because he hoped losing would help him win the leadership of his party, accidentally won and ruined any chance of leading because the man who thought he couldn’t lose, did – but resigned before actually doing the thing the vote had been about. The man who’d always thought he’d lead next, campaigned so badly that everyone thought he was lying when he said the economy would crash – and he was, but it did, but he’s not resigned, but, like the man who lost and the man who won, also now can’t become leader. Which means the woman who quietly campaigned to stay but always said she wanted to leave is likely to become leader instead.

Which means she holds the same view as the leader of the opposition but for opposite reasons, but her party’s view of this view is the opposite of the opposition’s. And the opposition aren’t yet opposing anything because the leader isn’t listening to his party, who aren’t listening to the country, who aren’t listening to experts or possibly paying that much attention at all. However, none of their opponents actually want to be the one to do the thing that the vote was about, so there’s not yet anything actually on the table to oppose anyway. And if no one ever does do the thing that most people asked them to do, it will be undemocratic and if any one ever does do it, it will be awful.

Clear?[emoji16]

Yeah read that yesterday.

They need to get on with it, apparently India and Mexico both hade trade agreements pre written in the event of a Brexit, we also have numerous other countries on the sidelines just waiting to strike deals with us.

@Diwrnach yep, totally agree with your american friend in that video.

As the title of this thread suggests, this EU vote is part of a mass world-wide movement, a mass shift in PERCEPTION - it all comes down to perception.

In france at the moment, there is huge unrest over an employment bill that was forced on the french workers and which strips them of their rights. It demands they be subject to mandatory over time, longer hours and loss of firing rights. Check it out:
