Best way to clean Indian sandstone?

I layed this patio about three years ago it's reasonably clean as it's a South facing garden. I haven't washed it yet but need some advice to get the best results. Would like to seal after so I don't have to pressure wash again next year. I don't own a pressure washer so will probably borrow a friends. I really want a good finish on it but have little experience in pressure washing.

Pressure wash it, Hypo it, Pressure wash it again.

i guess a difference of opinion,but i would hypo that first ,agitate with a stiff brush to work the hypo in and leave it to dwell for about an hour then pressure wash with a fsc

just my opinion of course,and its a way i've found to work very well

There is nothing so soiled on that patio that any hypo is required.

Pressure wash it, re-point any areas needed.

Choose a good sealant.

If sealed properly you wont need to pressure wash again but every six months or so a good hosing down and brush off will do just fine.

Hypo not required however if it is used lower pressure can be used to clean meaning less potential damage to the pointing and also to the stone which from my experience if you use high pressure can split thin pieces off.

A good result could be achieved with and without for sure.
