It's harder to build a round in winter but the customers you get will usually be good ones

Just get out there and do it

A little tough. But I had just come back from travelling so getting back into a work ethic was always going to be hard.

It beat applying for jobs and sitting in interviews with shirt and tie any day though!

sooner you start the better. iv seen plenty join the forum and then dilly dally posting rubbish instead of actually starting. find every excuse why not to start

i started in october of 08 and sure it was tuff that winter but i was well placed by the spring,id laid the foundations by then

A couple of months ago i decided i was self employed 4 a reason so nobody was telling me what 2 do unfortunatly ive let it happen for over 3yrs [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

You work for dpd then??

Seriously if you are gonna get into window cleaning and gonna leave your job soon you need to be door knocking now and building up a customer base that you will start cleaning on x date

No point waiting until you leave to then have no work waiting to be cleaned

I know a couple of guys in the dpd franchise and they both hate it

I've done a bit of courier work when needed and i know that 100+ deliveries per day and then collections on top is bleedin demoralising after a while

Don't blame you for wanting out and good luck to you buddy

I roughly do 100 pd however the run i do equates to an average of 300-400 flights of stairs a day and the more u do the more they want my body is knackered should i say am taking another week off to recover from this infection but i may not go back!

well keep postin on here then. the lads n lasses here will giv u advice all been there n dun it, but if you chicken out and carry on the driving job [as you posted summat similar in 2015 ] youv got everything to prove that youre not messin us about this time

if your not happy with your job go for it

its a massive challenge ,total commitment is what you need, some of the guys have said self employed is hard

you get out what you put in long hours to start with.

But being your own boss tops it all gd luck
