tuckers new brush

They're expensive though
The DuPont Nylon bristle they use is very expensive in comparison to standard nylon or PP and has to be purchased in some quantity by the manufacturer. Also bristle per pod count is very high. 'Sparse' is not a word that could be applied to these brushes. Glide and feel of it on glass is superb. I have used an original Tucker brush and although a touch heavy have not yet found bristle to match. Richard's Tecbuk Red would come closest.

Im using the red Tecbuk , i find it to be very agressive , even with the soft hairs . Got it for free pre-used from a buddy . Defo gonna buy one again . /emoticons/biggrin.png

They should be very easy going on the glass , pure nylon bristled. And very durable too. Pretty expensive, but I hear good things . Guilland I think compared it at bit to the tecbuk brush , and I love my tecbuk, but it's not good with hot water I've found out after switching over to heated a month ago . It kind of melts out of shape . The tucker apparently is good with hot . I'm just interested in how 250 got on with his ...?

You may get a little bored with it after 3 or 4 years... /emoticons/smile.png They last a very very long time...
Not bad ! I wonder, do they spread out with minimal pressure? That one of the things I really like about the tecbuk brush .. Nice to get to those corners easily.

i was temped with the tucker but its 280g put me off a bit im shore its a good brush tho, im sold on the gardner ultmate at the minit 180g but still scrubs well with hot water im guna hold out on the tucker till my m8 gets his so i can check it out first

Ime the same use the supreme stiff but they dont last long with hot water , very quick ware rate max 3 months , years ago the Vikan sill brush would last years but like a house brick, this tucker brush what's it really like with hot water ? Does it perform better and last longer than Gardiner's ? I've always felt there's not enough bristles on any Gardiner brushes , but they are light .

They are a bit weighty I had to stop using mine after a few weeks due to ongoing issues with my shoulders , As for durability if you are in the habit of catching window reveals then the edges of the brush gets just as bashed in as any other brush so this will definitely reduce the lifespan of the brush .

All that said the bristles and the way it moves across the glass and cleans frames and deals with bird muck then its like nothing else on the market at all .

just looked at that date july?god where has the time gone!

i had one of the first batch to try and it lasted that one house if i'm honest,i like the old tucker brushes but this one you had to really push to make it splay, granted it will last a lifetime but i'm more in the habit of making money rather than preserving brushlife so the brush was sold on after one house-the new owner loves the brush so hey ho.

it does have great scrubbing power although it does feel heavy at height and because you need to push to get the bristles to splay, even worse at height, don't get me wrong if some of you guys want a brush that will last for years and years then this is the one for you without a doubt

i beleive the jets have been uprated since mine as they were hopeless-too far apart and couldn't cope with the low flow we brits use
