Had a phone call form an Asian fella called Freddie today. Aparantly his company is doing a deep clean of a local school. He won'ts a price for the work to be done this weekend. no access to view site till they arive tomorrow morning. I do know the school so asked about dirty green pvc facia on front of main building. Aparantly not just windows. Aparantly will decide when he checks them out tomorrow, if plastic domes on the roofs are to be done. Dosn't sound like mutch of a deep clean realy. Dosnt know if he won'ts me to do inside or just out. He won'ts a set price not an hourly rate. Carnt give him one till I see the ruddy thing properly. It's a day outside probably but longer an a pain if inside as I would have to pay someone just to foot a ladder for a lot of stupid high windows. Job also will be longer than a day inside an I'm all booked up next week. Just don't know about this one. Do I risk my weekend?

Ide walk away sounds like the guy is a pain in the ars if u ask me ...and he is Asian so probly try and get loads of extras for nuffing and then there will be the ussue with geting the money lol

Sorry mate, too short notice, I'm fully booked this time of year, need at least a months notice and access to the site with yourself so we can see exactly what it is you want done, how long the job will take and only then can I give you a fair and accurate price. Otherwise if you want it this week I need to shift around a lot of regular clients and also the price would be £3000 if you want a 'blind quote' as I don't know what's truly involved. 50% payment on acceptance of quotation and the balance within 7 days.

i dont mean to sound off with the asian's but every one ive delt with has bin the same im shore there are some that are fine but most seem the same ,im shore its there culture to try and haggle u down and try and swindle u out of pocket :rofl:

My gut instinct would that it sounds like this chap wants a very good price for lots and lots ......and lots of work in return.

Had a phone call from exactly the same guy well I assume it's him called Freddie who sounded same as yours on Wednesday telling me his companies got loads of work in my area and he's prepared to sell it for 2.5 times the value of round as needs it gone quick. Everything he said sounded dodgy and he couldn't answer some pretty basic questions. Needless to say his call was terminated /emoticons/smile.png

Well I thought about this one for a while. decided to trust my gut. I don't need the £ although always nice to get more.

Dosnt sit right that a company starting a deep clean today, haven't got a plan set out.
