Hi guys , I will soon be going to water fed pole system from the traditional method after 25 years ! Can anybody tell me if the WFp gets cob webs off ok as I do blocks of flats and where the stair wells are there is always los of cobwebs which are always hard to get off cheers for any feed back , Amos. ad

if your on about outsides yes wfp is fine although you need a brush with stiffish bristles, if you mean internal i use this with an extension pole

Unger Cob Web Duster | Homebase

or there is a stiffer triangular one on ebay somewhere looks good but i've not tried it

And? have you not seen how far up that crazy bamboo scaffold goes in SE Asia? It makes me nervous just looking at it.
I love the fact that apparently its husband and wife teams, supposedly because of the trust

Actually this is a good point

WFP is actually **** on spider webs so you will need to take care on this perfect your technique on downstairs where you can check em

Really?? I've never had a problem with em

Stiff brush for outside.
Or take a long piece of bamboo, break off the tip and then it has dozens of little prongs insert into spiders web and twist and it winds them up like cotton candy.
I rescued a sparrow like this once. It was dangling by it's leg from the apex of a customers house, on a piece of plastic cord it had got tangled in. I used this exact method to pull it loose. It felt weird climbing down my ladder with a bird dangling from the end of a bamboo pole.

On the spider web front I don't find them any more trouble than snail trails with wfp.

Does this 'thread' class as a 'sticky' topic? Groan. Sorry /emoticons/biggrin.png

Snail trails - soak window then turn off flow - scrub with brush then water back on

According to Gardiner website pure water melts them off in one pass ! Yeah right
