Here's one from this weeks jobs.

Power washed it on Monday. Took the Mrs 2.5 hours to whip through 150 sqm. I popped back this afternoon and applied two coats of sealant. Took 3.5 hours to do that but custy was happy and made a good finish to the week.

First pic is post clean pre sealing. Second is after the first coat.

Green what sealant did you use?

I'm doing a identical one next month but they won't it black

SmartSeal mate. Their drive needs to be already black though.

I've done few recolours there drive at the mo is same as one in your pic

I've done a lot of re-colour and seals on imprinted drives done dirty old Red drive to nice new fresh black got a colour chart and done my first anti slip last month better when old transformes it better

Interesting. I would have thought you'd need a stack load of coats for a color change.

Have you done it the other way @Drive Revive ? Say blacks to reds?

That was just two coats black is my favourite colour covers up a lot and looks great

Those sealers make such a difference. How long do they last?

Did that one about year and half ago still looks like that today depends on how the customer looks after it normally about 2 to 3 years I would say.

You get the right sealers and prep the drive right it's funny how black can make the old red look good it covers a lot

I'm doing concrete drive next week in slate grey and ash black

Have you done gray before or first time reson I ask is did charcoal the other month and it looked paints mate had to change to black much better

Done a couple on concrete but on good condition driveways

Im doing red Tarmac soon and that's a first so excited to do it lol

Good quality sealants and paint is key

Are you painting the tarmac?

Have you checked out the Tarmaseal? Expensive but is more like a dye than most tarmac re-color products.
