Diy Brush

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I see that Richard is up to his usual trick of dodging the issue like a slippery used car salesman

Lets be careful out there folks.
Not just me thought that then, welcome Martyn...
Classic quote by the way.

Most of my purchases of wfp gear have been on opinions I have got from this forum. Although I haven't heard many reports on here about tecbuk brushes I am going to take the chance and find out for myself. I will be purchasing an aerial brush within the next week or so and hopefully it will put a smile on my face.

And I will still be making my own brush when I come across a decent looking brush head

Just to balance things out a bit, and not only sound harsh against window cleaners - im a one man window cleaning business who also manufactures wfp brushes I have to order material them then phiscally drill, cut, chop that material etc Unger who are a huge supplier of window cleaner equipment now sell wfp brushes and exhibited there new brush at the last trade show – They don’t make brushes – someone else does it for them.

Food for thought at least.

How many other suppliers do you know, who do what I do? Please feel free to post who they are.

Richard
So in reality, this is a DIY brush as well

@ Richard, thank you for asking, but I do have the whole situation figured out.

@ rcproperty, I am in the lovely sunny Channel Islands, where it has been raining fairly consistently all summer so far, /emoticons/sad.png However the gulf stream has finally moved and we should all see an improvement in the weather from now on. /emoticons/smile.png

@ Dodger, thank you.

@ Belfastcleaning, I haven't yet found anybody who says that Richards brush is total rubbish, but neither have I found anbody who says that it lives up to his claims, it will be interesting to see what you make of it.

And you wonder why manufacturers don't want to give forums discounts.

still with the likes of martyn parting with his expert knowledge, who needs manufacturer experience.

Still martyn has yet to post let alone prvide something tangible for window cleaners.

if i was a manufacture and was on a forum with 1000 possilble customers, i would be happy to give a good discount to all members! if all 1000 brought a brush at £30 i think that would be a nice little pay rise for you! and thats if they only brought one brush! just imagen if they brought 2-3! if anyone is like me, i have 4 poles all with there own brush! so in a business point of view thats a lot of possible missed oppertunities i feel. then there is the reccommendations to others too! put some figures on it:-

1000 x 1 brush =£30,000.00

1000 x 2 brushes = £60,00.00

1000 x 3 brushes = £90,000.00

1000 x 4 bruches = £120,000.00

And before anyone says it, i know there are alot of just trad guys on here!! but what if everyone turns to WFP!

hi richard this could go on and on and on . would you consider giving one of the experienced wfp cleaners a sample of your brushes to try out and review and we could get an impartial independent opinion

ive often given first cleans and got some good customers from it surely its in his interest a lot of suppliers give out samples and if the product is good then it should generate sales

The request for sample brushes since 2010 amounts to a lot..

never ceases to amaze me how some custoers will still use rubbish brush if they can't get an extra £5 of the price.

have you ever sent out a sample brush to anyone or a company?

Yes of course, but some window cleaners on forums may want a free brush - i have to consider what qualifies that person to do a review

Richard

if its no good then no window cleaner would want even free . would you consider giving one for review to the winner of member of the month if they are wfp if not one of the runners up maybe .

it's a bit different giving a first clean away because the money you generate afterwards pays for that clean, what would Richard generate afterwards, nowt I wouldn't even give a clean for free /emoticons/biggrin.png
