Should come straight off with normal cleaning. No difference between that and the marks left by a sat have stuck to your window.

I've tried ubik & some standard glue remover but had no luck. Using just wfp doesn't even touch them.. A customer had 5 glass doors put in & sucker pad marks all over all of them.. Had no luck at all..

Just a thought. Do they use anything to aid the suction of those big pads that may have removed a coating on the glass so it gives the impression something is stuck to the glass when in reality something has been removed from the glass? I say this because I have come across something similar on domestic windows when labels have been removed. The water always dries OK but behaves differently where the sticker was. There seems to be nothing that will remove/fix it.

I wish it was that easy lol! No there's no sticky film on there but I do know what you mean.. We do a few new homes just after been built & they have a film over them but it's more of a coloured film like blue.. So easy to be seen but even getting that off can be a pain as bits stay stuck & you cant use a blade on Windows that new just incase..

I guess I should have asked if the marks were visible when the glass was dry, as I was thinking more of a treatment applied to the glass itself like on self cleaning glass, that may have been damaged by something applied to the suckers to aid their grip.

The reason I say that is that I have quite a few jobs where glass that is hydrophobic has patches where it it has become hydrophilic where something has been applied to it and removed. Usually a square, triangular or round sticker in one corner of each pane that has been removed by the builder. There is nothing left to see or feel when dry, but when wet the glass behaves differently and so looks odd when you apply water to it. It's almost as if whatever the coating was, it was applied to the glass after the stickers were put on.

However, after rereading your OP it looks as if you're referring to visible marks left by the suckers, so my comments probably don't apply

When I was in a plumbing supply shop they had this product Soudal Solvent Cleaner

The cleaner- who was independant from the store that was in that day, came and showed me that it was great for getting sticky stuff off, she said that she saw car valeters using it at a garage to take off their sticky price signs off windows, it stinks of pears. But it is very good.
