Random service request - removing paint splatter from red brickwork

Never done it before, but would graffiti remover do it? Just an idea, don't know if it will work.

Hmm, maybe. Funnily enough I used to do a bit of graffiti removal and still have some solutions knocking about. Just worried in case they may damage the surface of the brick. Maybe test on an inconspicuous area first.

Don't look like paint to me

Looks like mortar stain from messy pointing

If it is brick acid ( hydrochloric ) will do it

Yes, in the first photo I'd agree. The others have small white specks of paint though.

Ok, thanks for the suggestion.

if you dont know what to do then say you cant do it? i always say no thx if someone ask me something where their guess is as good as mine

the white/grey mess is just messy re-pointing, that'll come off with the acid, make sure you look how to do it first though because its dangerous stuff! good luck with the paint, my 21lpm 3000psi machine doesn't touch paint that's been on a porous surface. you need heat and chemicals for it

For the first time in a long time, I turned the job down. Always seem to end up taking on other people's problems and stressing out about it then. Good way of looking at it Pigeon!
