That's true but like I said people have had experience of bad and good tradders before wfp was an option..so what would they do?shop around until find a good tradder=and subsequently they would generally know trad can work well. They have almost always seen or had good tradders.

Now, if someone does a bad wfp job it can put them off ever going back to it-customers are likely to have far less experience with it since its newer and therefore won't always have met good operator's like yer kind self davey.

Subjectively, I've seen up here how they assume that the 'bad' results they have had with one company would be replicated by ANY other wfp companies. They don't always have the insight, hence I assume why you guys often seem to explain the process of how it is done right (when quoting etc).

I don't explain it more than just saying it's 100% purified water and will dry 100% fine

Any issues give me a yell

That is good enough imo

I don't explain how a squeegee and applicator works so why wfp

Some people need educating.

I was asked by a next door neighbour for a quote recently. I gave him a quote he said oh that's more expensive than what I'm paying.

I said what's wrong with the cleaner your have?

He used that pole thing and left a right mess last time. I walked up to the windows and they were perfect clean. I said looks ok to me.

He didn't even wipe the water off the glass when he left was the reply.I said but they've dried clear right? Yes he said.

I went on to explain to him about wfp and he was happy.

He then asked me to undercut his windy by a quid lol. I declined the offer of £8 for a 3 bed detached.

IMO I think a little educating is in order, but I find that some streets have a "No pole pact". So I can't for the life of me switch them over. ah well I think.... trad aint to bad for all of them as longs as I've got me ladder out. Though with totally new custys if they try to get me to try to do it there way I think I'll say, "I'll make sure they are suitably clean but I can't confirm which I'll use I'll just make sure they will be clean"
