t-connection on a brush wow

if you have just bought a wfp pole from gardiner you will understand that the T- connector on the brush has little metal teeth inside well i didn't know you could lift up the plastic clip and the 8mm barb would slide out easy is was trying to pull it off for a good 20 mins holy wow are them little teeth strong. was it gardiner who come up with that little clip idea ?

Alex is good but I doubt he would claim any credit for those. We used John Guest push in fittings long before Alex opened his WFP online store.
