Please may I ask what the 1/2" red hose is you are using. It seems to have a nice stiff wall which stops it kinking on tight bends.

Using 40" ro only have to change the filter about every 18 month and I fill it up every day 650 litres hope

Hello David, I use to have a gas heating system but changed to electric & have a immersion heater fitted & heat the water over night. The gas heater worked but not to a good standard always kept cutting out & not a constant heat ,,

What immersion heater do you use, is it fixed in tank, or dropped in when your heating. Can you regulate the heat. Set it at 50 degrees? I'm thinking of this style of heating. As buying a bit of land next to house for parking n will put an outdoor socket on Wall, for heating water. Don't want it too hot, as do a fair bit of old glass.

Hi wiz! I have a friend got the exact same problem with that specific model you got. He also want to change to the Eccotemp 5l now.

He got problems with it turning off all the time at 6 on the 1-9 flow control.

Maybe even at 4 . But I know 2 others than run theirs (same type ) great without any complications. Anyway, I've thought of the Eccotemp after reading reviews online, and the fact that you're max using 2 l per minute, so a 5 l must be sufficient, instead of 8 .

In my country it sells for 140 pounds, SO cheap. And yet people are very pleased with the quality online.. Mine works great . Yesterday it was subzero degrees,no problems! As mentioned it's very sensitive to the heat-setting, not much from minimum is advised at winter temps. One little notch and its raising much. I've put a dot to mark my optimal settings. In the summer of course I'll raise it. Just don't wanna crack anyone's windows.

the immersion heater is fixed into the tank, you will need the flange as in picture take care when cutting out the hole in tank also use silicon when fitting, I've had no issues with mine, you can control the heat on the immersion !! Will send picture of the fitted heater.
