Streaks on k rend

View attachment 8858 I have got a job to do on some render but it has some calcium/ mineral streaks caused by the run off from the coping blocks

I've explained that I may not be able to remove them but I would like to if possible

Anyone had similar?

Need to do coping stones first. Then hit the streak parts a few times

If its black lichen. Biocde be better. It's a **** to remove

I'd go up ladder and strong hypo with paint brush

Then give it a brush with stiff WFP

and rinse

Then do the whole wall with normal mix should come up great

I suggest you get professional advice before messing with softwash chems @Nicky but to answer how I do the above.

1: 3% Thats 5-1 on 15% Hypo (i'm too lazy and it's too cheap to wait for 1 or 2% to work.

2: Large plastic dustbin

3 : Some use WFP with backpack for application. I have a custom built machine for it.

4: As long as it takes, usually 30 mins then rinse. May need a second application in some cases.

5: Ebay or any good farm supply shop.

6: PPE PPE PPE PPE PPE PPE.

7: SEE #6

Ppe is a definite

I had a connector pop off while using hypo with no ppe

Luckily i was at home doing my own patio as i got covered and had to strip off in the garden and go jump in the shower as it was on my face and everywhere

I would go on benz softwash website and look at their youtube vids to get a rough idea of what you need and get on nasw website and facebook forum
