I'e had a CLX 27 with an extension pole for 2-3 years now and has done me well but needs to be retired as sections are getting shorter and shorter.

My question is for an every day pole 30ft will I really notice the difference between using a CLX and an SLX, happy to spend the money if the difference is noticeable.

Who has had a CLX and an SLX and what would you buy the next time?

Cheers

i have bought the slx22 as my first pole and i find it lightweight and a nice pole. but i have no other pole to compare it to since i come straight from trad

I had a CLX27 for a while. Used for ground and first floor it was quite a good pole but for three storey work not so good. I wasted a lot of energy controlling it. I now have an SLX25 and the difference is chalk and cheese to me. It feels much lighter to use, and much more rigid when used at full reach which makes it much better easier to use at height. If I was going to be regularly working at 30ft though I would probably spring for an Extreme.

ive had both and the slx is mush stiffer and a bit liter the clx is a cracking pole for the money tho but ide still have the slx over it

Got the SLX 30 with an extension. If feels good, rigid, the sections slide out easier and is comfortable to work with. Not sure about value of the extra £200, I think i'd buy one again if needed but the CLX is also a very worthwhile pole and much better value especially for new cleaners or staff.
